Stüssy has seemingly become obsessed with the Converse Chuck 70 in recent years, with five different iterations of the shoe releasing since 2022. This week, they are adding a sixth, this time with Snakeskin uppers.
Stüssy’s releases of the Converse Chuck 70 began back in 2022, with a simple black and white styling complete with their star logo on the outer heels. They followed that up just weeks later with a soft pink “Surfman” edition, before dropping an “8Ball” pair just two months later. They’ve also released Pearl logo editions and a three-way collaboration with Our Legacy, and this week, they are adding a “Snakeskin” pair to their growing catalog.
The new look is exactly what you’d expect from an all-snakeskin sneaker. The upper is entirely constructed in the patterned textile, colored with shades of tan, brown, and black, and paired with a white midsole and laces. The star logo returns for this release on the outer heels, with a circular patch on the inner sides and a Chuck Taylor logo hidden inside.
