Vans and size? are back with another exclusive project this month. Taking the classic Era as their canvas, the size? team gives a bold reinterpretation of the classic Checkerboard pattern, titled the “Warped Check”.
The Vans Era is as essential to a sneaker closet as an Air Force 1, Stan Smith, or Club C. While the color of choice is open to interpretation, the most popular has always been Vans’ famous checkerboard pattern. Mostly offered in primary colors or plain black or white, the eye-catching checkerboard has become synonymous with the California skate brand, but this week, they’re receiving a wild new update courtesy of the UK’s size?. Titled the “Warped Check”, the new look twists and transforms the blocked pattern into uneven curves, as well as remixing it in vibrant neon shades of blue and pink.
