U.K. retailer size? has taken to showing off their upcoming special projects and collaborations well ahead of the release, giving their fans a sneak peak at whats to come as well as drumming up hype for a release. These “previews” come via the brand’s YouTube page, where employees and designers from the size? team explain the concepts and colors behind each. This month, they gave us an early look at an upcoming release with New Balance, which sees the U.K store taking on the new 57/40 silhouette and applying a unique “Greyscale” color scheme to the shoe’s heavily layered upper, switching between light and dark shades of grey across the mesh, leather, and suede portions of the 57/40.

New Balance’s latest collaboration featuring the new 57/40 silhouette has not yet been announced for release, though size?’s early images point to a drop sometime in the coming weeks. This pair will likely come with an elevated price tag due to the quality of materials involved, and release exclusively from the size? website as well as in stores. UPDATE 11/22/21: size? has finally announced the release of their “Greyscale” New Balance 57/40, launching later this week on November 26th, 2021. The pair will be available via raffle until the 24th, and will launch alongside the matching tracksuit two days later.
