Ronnie Fieg and New Balance have released some special projects this year to celebrate the designer’s ten-year anniversary of Kith. Now, another entry in the anniversary series has emerged, coloring the 990v3 in the “Daytona” style from ten years ago.

Ronnie Fieg’s immensely popular Kith brand has been well-established in the world of footwear for quite some time, with Ronnie himself largely leading the store’s collaborative efforts across a number of well-known labels. In fact, one of the strongest bonds Kith has is with New Balance, the Boston-based brand known for their emphasis on comfort and high quality sneakers. Back in 2013, the two teamed up to create the New Balance 1600 “Daytona”, mixing blue, white, and brown shades inspired by Fieg’s family trips to the namesake beach. Now, for the Kith ten-year anniversary, the Daytona colorway has been repurposed for the incredibly popular 990v3. The new style features a solid navy blue toe box alongside a white quarter panel and light brown heel, while a flash of pink decorates the New Balance ‘N’ logos to complete the look.

The upcoming “Dayton” New Balance 990v3 from Ronnie Fieg’s Kith has not yet been announced for release, though we expect them to debut sometime early in 2022. The smooth white and blue color scheme will likely be available exclusively from Kith, utilizing the retailer’s Loyalty Program to get them into the hands oof their most avid fans. We expect them to come with an elevated price tag of at least $200, but information is scarce.
