From the TV show that brought you McDonalds Szechuan sauce, we are proud to present the ASICS Court MZ! The first officially licensed footwear of Rick and Morty! (Not guaranteed to survive in a vat of acid, see inside for details).
Rick and Morty collaborations are nothing new in the current era of brand partnerships. Hell, the beloved show even got McDonalds to revive a decades-old sauce after a couple off-hand lines in one episode. However, the one thing we have yet to see from the adult animated anthology is a footwear collaboration, the most obvious thing for IP like this to do. Luckily, Japanese footwear brand ASICS aims to amend that, teaming up with the Adult Swim serial for two special pairs of the Court MZ shoe. Inspired by characters from the show, the R&M Court MZ comes in either a white and blue color scheme with Rick and Morty’s faces on it, or a colorful mix of blue and purple tones meant to represent Mr. Meeseeks.
RICK AND MORTY X ASICS COURT MX RELEASE INFORMATION
The upcoming collaboration between ASICS and Rick and Morty has not yet been announced for release, but they are expected to launch sometime in the coming months. Featuring two pairs of the Court MZ sneaker inspired by characters from the show, the project will likely release from both Asics and select retailers, with a price tag of approximately $100 per pair.
