While Principe Prive is a lesser known company, the Japanese fashion brand looks to get all the attention with their rusted take on the sacai x Nike Blazer Mid.

The sacai x Nike partnership has probably been the biggest collaboration in 2019. The brand new mash-up of different silhouettes along with bright unique colorways has definitely won over many sneakerheads this year and the two will likely continue to drop heat as we move into 2020 as well. With the hype and demand the collab has presented, the silhouettes have fallen accustomed to taking on custom variations. This brings us to one of the most obscure takes yet, a rusted sacai x Nike Blazer Mid.

Inspired by aged-rusted sneakers, this silhouette has been stripped of any color as it dons an all-over white upper and midsole. The color is used to represent oxidized metal as coats of paint perfectly portray rust build up in certain parts of the shoe. Other than rust, the shoe comes distressed to further push the vision of old, rusty and falling apart.

All the effort and artistic expertise correlates with a hefty retail price that’ll cost you over $1,100 for a pair. They are set to release this week on Principe Prive’s online store with a processing time of over 45 days to compensate for the amount of hand-applied detailing. While the shoe is out of many of our league’s they’re still very interesting and nice to look at. Take a look below and for more sneaker news, follow JustFreshKicks for all the details.
