Pokémon and Converse have unveiled their debut collaboration, teaming up to deliver sneakers and apparel decorated with some of our all-time favorite Pokémon. Check out the two Chuck Taylors kicking off the project, dropping next week.

The Pokémon Company has been celebrating twenty-five years of their eponymous pocket monsters this year, teaming up with brands from around the world for special projects. This week, Converse unveiled their contributions to the Pokémon Anniversary celebration, teaming up with the Japanese brand to cover the Chuck Taylor in a number of Pokémon-clad graphics, mainly highlighting the stars of the original games and TV shows, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander, Oh, and Meowth! That’s right! The characters are spread equally across two colorways of the Chuck Taylor, one featuring a white canvas upper with pattern of the various Pokémon in simple black outlines, while the other opts for a black upper with one of each Pokémon in full color.

The upcoming collection from Converse and Pokémon has been scheduled to release in the coming weeks, on December 10th, 2021. Featuring a range of Chuck Taylor’s decorated with various Pokémon alongside a small apparel collection, the project will be available from both Converse and select retailers.
