atmos’ history of special edition releases exclusive to their stores is unprecedented, and dates back to the early days of sneaker collaborations. This week, they’ve unveiled their latest with New Balance, the “Pink Vacation” 740, coming soon.

atmos’ collaborations are a special case in the sneaker world. Most projects feature the brand or retailer transforming the shoe to their liking, changing materials and textures to tell their story. The atmos approach is similar to that of the UK’s size?, in that both tend to stick with the chosen silhouette as is, simply swapping colors for their SMUs (special make-ups) and keeping things simple.

This week, atmos has unveiled their latest SMU from New Balance, which features the retro 740 runner that has made a return this season. Dubbed “Pink vacation”, the look is inspired by tropical sunsets, and features a graphic of one printed on the special in-soles. The rest of the shoe is almost entirely cast in shades on pink, from the sole to the overlay accent colors. Hints of metallic silver are present, and as a bonus each pair comes with two laces, standard, and wide hot pink ribbon options.

Ohio boutique Unheardof is coming back with a new adidas project in 2025. Moving away from the Forum from several previous projects, the Adistar Cushion 3 gets an all-pink theme inspired by their “Captain Piggy” mascot.

Unheardof has been the go-to destination for sneakers and streetwear in Cincinatti, Ohio since its opening in 2008. Founded by Philip Lipschutz, the store began as an outlet for his love of skateboarding, pop art, and lifestyle clothing, but has evolved into one of the best sneaker stores in the country. The last few years have seen a string of excellent releases with adidas, featuring the Forum Low in the “Grandma’s Couch” and “Building Bridges” project.

This week, Philip appeared on the Sneaky Leak podcast, and gave us an early look at his next release with the Three Stripes. Featuring the Adistar Cushion 3 as the canvas, the shoe is themed after the store’s mascot, Captain Piggy, a cartoon pig. The model features a mix of mesh and suede for the upper, with a base layer in pale pink and darker tones for the overlays. Flashes of red add some brighter accents, while Piggy himself appears on the tongues.

UNHEARDOF X ADIDAS ADISTAR CUSHION 3 “CAPTAIN PIGGY” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest release from Ohio’s Unheardof boutique and adidas has not been officially announced yet, but is slated to release sometime in 2025. The Adistar Cushion 3 dressed in shades of pink will be available directly from the retailer, with a wider release from adidas likely to follow.

Supreme has kicked off their Spring 2025 season after their usual Winter hiatus. This week, we have our first official look at their take on the Nike Air Max 1, coming soon in a simple triple white look with an added BOGO on the tongue.

Supreme’s history of Nike collaborations is extensive, and encompasses everything from retro basketball models to hiking and running shoes. However, the New York-based skate brand has a well-documented love of the Swoosh classics, delivering on models like the Air Force 1 and Dunk over the years. This season, Supreme is gearing up for their latest take on an iconic Swoosh model, the Air Max 1.

Supreme’s take on the AM1 is coming sometime this Spring, and we are just now beginning to see their various colorways, like the black & white pair from their lookbook. With four styles supposedly on the way, it is unclear if this is a standard one-time release, or an ongoing project like the tonal Air Force 1s. This week, we have our first look at a triple white style, which adds a quilted leather for the Swooshes, mini Swooshes along the toes, and a red box logo on the tongues.

Supreme is gearing up to kick off their Spring 2025 season after their usual Winter hiatus. This week, we have our first official look at their take on the Nike Air Max 1, coming soon in a simple black & white build.

Supreme and Nike have a very unique relationship when it comes to collaborations. The New York skate brand frequently pulls some interesting silhouettes from the Swoosh archives for limited releases, usually accompanied by a matching apparel collection. Other release like their Air Force 1 are more ongoing, available on a regular basis alongside each week’s releases. This year, the Air Max 1 is joining their list of collaborations, available soon.

Supreme’s take on the Air Max 1 appears to be fairly simple, perhaps indicating it will be widely available like their box logo AF1s. Seen for the first time this week via their lookbook, the Supreme AM1 will be available in the black stye seen here, which adds white panel Swooshes to the main body and a mini Swoosh embroidered at the toes. Metallic details are also added for a more premium feel, with lace dubraes and lace tips in a chrome finish.

Undefeated recently releases a very limited “Thunder Blue” style of the Nike Zoom Spiridon. Now, two new colorways have surfaced, which will see a wider release sometime in Spring 2025.

Last weekend, Undefeated released their latest collaboration with Nike, a “Thunder Blue” style of the Air Zoom Spiridon. The shoes were initially teased at ComplexCon last year, where a few pairs were given out to lucky fans of the brand. The release was similarly limited, with just 1,000 pairs available exclusively in-store at Undefeated’s West Coast locations. Luckily, there are still more colorways coming soon if you missed out on the first style.

Revealed by Brendan Dunne of Complex on the platform’s sneaker podcast this week, two more colorways of the Undefeated Air Zoom Spiridon are on the way this season. These new pairs are much closer to the color schemes we’ve come to expect from UNDFTD, casting them in neutral hues. The first pair comes in Black/Cargo Khaki, which adds the olive green tone to the shoe’s piping and tongues, as well as a brigh orange mini Swoosh at the toes, somewhat of a nod to their iconic AJ4. The second colorway is lighter, featuring a black mesh base for the upper and applying suede overlays in Phantom and Light Cream white shades.

UNDEFEATED NIKE AIR ZOOM SPIRIDON PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

The next release of the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon from Undefeated has not been announced yet, but is speculated to arrive this Spring, possibly on March 29th, 2025. Featuring two colorways, one in Black/Cargo Khaki and the other in Phantom/Black, pairs will likely be available from both partners as well as select third-party retailers for $160 each.

The hype train for the Asics GEL-Kayano 14 continues to gain momentum this season. This week, Southern-based retailer Sneaker Politics has teased their take on the popular retro runner, releasing next week.

Asics has had an immensely strong few years, as they continue to dominate the sneaker world with their throwback trainers and excellent collaborations. Their SportStyle category, AKA lifestyle sneakers, has grown tremendously in this time, as the Japanese brand continues to revive older models as well as introducing brand new silhouettes to their arsenal. One of the most popular retros has been the GEL-Kayano 14 trainer from 2008, which has also been one of their most frequent canvasses for collaboration.

This week, another collaboration project has surfaced featuring the GEL-Kayano 14, this time from the Louisiana-based Sneaker Politics. Founded by Derek Curry in 2006, the store has grown to a number of locations across the American South, and rumor has it this Asics release will be exclusive to just one of them, in Austin, Texas. The Politics take on the GK14 features a flat white base for the upper, adding the Asics stripe logos in a metallic gold finish, with silver metallic for the toes and eyestays. The heels and tongues of the shoe add some hints of bright red, with an aged yellowed midsole to complete the look.

Stone Island has been teaming up with New Balance to bring their signature looks to iconic sneakers for several years now. This week, they unveiled their next project, the Made in USA 998, with a look inspired by their signature Raso Gommato fabric.

The relationship between Italy’s Stone Island and New Balance began back in 2022, when the two started to mix NB’s performance footwear with the SI aesthetic. Since then, the two have regularly released new collaborations, which have leaned more and more into the Boston footwear brand’s retro catalog, including pairs of the 574 and the recent 991v2. This week, they have announced their next project.

The upcoming release from Stone Island and New Balance is slated to arrive next week, and brings one of their iconic fabric innovations to the Made in USA 998 silhouette. The Raso Gommato textile was originally created in 1984 by the brand’s founder, Massimo Osti, and mixes a satin weave cotton with a polyurethane coating. The 998 applies this textile to the shoe’s overlays, which give a washed brown or grey look depending on the lighting. 3M hits line the toes and heels, as well as the N logos, with rich brown leather making up the rest of the shoe.

The last few weeks have brought us a wave of early images and information about the next Supreme x Nike release, which will feature the Air Max 1 as their shoe of choice. Today, we have a full look at the accompanying apparel collection.

Supreme and Nike are back this week, kicking off Spring with a fresh wave of sneakers and apparel to keep us kitted out for the coming months. We have known for some time that the Air Max 1 would be the next iconic Swoosh silhouette to get the Supreme treatment, and early images of the various colorways have surfaced over the past few weeks, including colorways in black/white, triple white, and Varsity Purple. This week, with the new collection on the way, we finally have a look at the full apparel collection for Spring 2025.

Supreme’s latest collection with Nike once again delivers a pretty extensive range of gear for Spring and Summer. Featuring colors that match the Air Max 1 styles we’ve seen thus far, the selection is a healthy mix of sport and leisure, with silhouettes applicable in both uses. The premier item from this release appears to be the snakeskin leather bomber jacket, which comes in either black or white. Next up is a range of nylon tracksuits in purple, yellow, or black, with 3M piping and reflective panels. Sweatsuits are also on the menu for this release, along with rugby shirts, knit sweater vests, running hats, and small side bags.
