Nike .SWOOSH Air Max 1 “Big Head” Releases March 26th

Last Fall, Nike’s .SWOOSH label introduced their “Low-Poly” Air Max 1, a new version of the classic made to look like a minimally rendered graphic. Now, Donkey Kong is getting his own version of the shoe with the “Big Head” color scheme.

Nike launched .SWOOSH early in 2024, a new program that brings together the world of sneakers and gaming. The project also includes digital versions of iconic Nike shoes available to wear in-game, like in NBA 2K, Fortnite, or Tekken 8. We’ve seen a number of release through the .SWOOSH program so far, the most popular likely being the “Low-Poly” Air Max 1 from last Fall.

Nike’s entrance into the world of video games has been an interesting development to watch over the last year. What originally started as digital collectibles has now evolved into wearable in-game cosmetics, a healthy course correction for the Swoosh’s digital imprint. This season, they are taking their .SWOOSH Air Max 1 to a new level, with an upcoming pair themed after Donkey Kong and his iconic side-scrolling games. The pair is dressed in shaggy brown suede with red and gold accents to mimic DK’s color scheme, while details like an ESRB rating inspired tongue label, and gold coins on the insoles round out the shoe’s story.

Nike Air Max 95 Gets a “Hydrangeas” Look for Summer

Nike is bringing their Big Bubble retro stye to the Air Max 95 this year, updating the shoe’s cushioning to better reflect its original format. This week, a new Summer-ready edition with a Hydrangeas purple accent surfaced, coming soon.

Back in 2020, Nike celebrated twenty-five years of their iconic Air Max 95 running shoe. The silhouette has been a fan favorite since its debut, thanks to its wavy, layered upper that is ripe for unique and detailed color schemes. 2025 marks thirty years of the futuristic runner, which has returned for another run of both new and original color schemes, this time with a revised Big Bubble version that brings it closer to the original release.

Nike’s Air Max 95 releases for this year continue to stack up, with plenty of excellent colors on the way. This week has brought us an early look at a new “Hydrangeas” style for Summer, a bright and clean new look for sunnier days. The shoe comes mainly in a flat white tone, breaking up its layered upper by alternating the white stripes with a Light Graphite grey suede. The Hydrangeas purple tone is used sparingly, filling the Air bags underfoot and making up the ribbons used for the lacins system.

NIKE AIR MAX 95 “HYDRANGEAS” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest new colorway of their Air Max 95 retro, now in the Big Bubble format, is expected to release this Summer, though no date has been set yet. Mixing white and grey with a soft Hydrangeas purple accent, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $190.

Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Batman” Releasing Summer 2025

In 2025, Nike continues to push creative boundaries with a stealthy and stylish new take on a classic silhouette—the Nike Air Max 95 “Batman” Big Bubble. While not an official DC Comics collaboration, this striking colorway clearly pays tribute to Gotham’s iconic vigilante, merging the world of streetwear with pop culture in an unmistakably cool way.

Drawing immediate comparisons to the legendary Dark Knight, the sneaker features a moody mix of Black, Buff Gold, and Anthracite, reminiscent of Batman’s iconic suit. The upper showcases layered leather sidewalls, with a reflective strip above the mesh lace guards—mirroring Batman’s readiness to emerge from the shadows at a moment’s notice. But it’s the “Buff Gold” accents that truly bring the Gotham vibe to life. You’ll find this bold hue highlighting the mini Swoosh, tongue branding, and most notably, the oversized visible Air units, giving the shoe a visual jolt much like the Caped Crusader’s golden emblem.

Functionality meets flair as the big bubble Air units return—adding a retro twist to the sneaker’s futuristic vibe. First introduced in earlier Air Max models, this re-engineered bubble system now appears in the Air Max 95, celebrating the silhouette’s 30th anniversary in bold fashion. Additional details such as the golden accents on the outsole and Gotham-toned insoles round out a design that perfectly balances urban toughness and heroic flair.

While this sneaker may not make you a superhero, it does let you channel Bruce Wayne’s brooding style with every step.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Batman” Big Bubble is set to release in Summer 2025. It will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers, both in-store and online, including Nike.com. Expect to grab your pair for a retail price of $180 USD.

In conclusion, Nike’s Batman-inspired Air Max 95 is a dynamic fusion of storytelling and style, perfect for fans of the superhero and sneaker lovers alike. Keep your eyes peeled—this is one release you won’t want to miss.

Bad Bunny’s “Bold Gold” adidas Ballerina Releases in March 2025

Last year, Bad Bunny debuted an upcoming adidas project when photographed out and about with Kendall Jenner. Now, we know this is his take on the Ballerina shoe, which has surfaced in a new “Bold Gold” colorway this week.

Bad Bunny and adidas are continuing to grow their already massive range of sneaker collaborations in 2025. The two ended 2024 on a high note by introducing a new silhouette to their catalog, with three hybrid colorways of the SL72. Additionally, we’ve seen early looks at new colors for their popular Gazelle remodel, dressed in a golden yellow color scheme. Now, after our first official look at the Ballerina earlier this week, we have new photos of a third colorway coming later this year.

The Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina has been on our radar for nearly a year now, since Benito was spotted wearing them in public over last Summer. Based on the 2019 Taekwando silhouette, the low-profile model features slim midsoles and a minimal upper. Today, the BB Ballerina has surfaced in a “Bold Gold” color scheme, which is paired with black stripes and a gum sole unit.

Nike’s Crisp White & Black Air Max Sunder Pair Drops in Summer

Nike is continuing to issue fresh colorways of their Air Max Sunder retro through Summer, with a range of new styles coming soon. Amongst the new looks is a simple white & black combo, one of their first entirely neutral looks.

The first-ever full retro release of Nike’s Air Max Sunder finally arrived in Fall 2024, bringing back the turn-of-the-century running shoe for a new era. Originally introduced in 1999, the Sunder’s shrouded lacing system and sleek lines had made them a cult classic, beloved by fans of archival Nike product over the last two-plus decades. With its return now fully cemented, more colorways from the Summer 2025 lineup have started to emerge.

The latest pair of Nike’s retro Sunder to come across our feeds is perhaps one of their most simple releases yet. We’ve seen a couple all-black iterations, one of which featured a Gore-Tex lining, but this white & black combo lightens things up a bit for the sunnier months. The shoe’s single-piece upper comes in a flat white textile, with black accents framing the rest rest of the silhouette. The signature TPU pieces embedded in the mudguard with perforations come in a light grey shade, and will be reflective as they are on every other pair.

NIKE AIR MAX SUNDER “BLACK/WHITE” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s upcoming black & white style of the Air Max Sunder retro does not have a release date yet, but is currently expected to release sometime in Summer 2025. The clean contrasting palette will be available from both Nike’s SNKRS app and select retailers with its new price tag of $180.

Where to Buy the PATTA x Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll”

Sneakerheads have been clamoring for years for Nike to rerelease the iconic Patta ‘Chlorophyll’ Air Max 1, and now it appears we will get our wish in September 2024.

Nike’s Air Max 1 has seen a number of iconic retro colorways return to shelves over the past few years, but one legendary pair has been missing: Patta’s ‘Chlorophyll’ edition. While Patta has released a number of colors of their ‘The Wave‘ Air Max 1 over the past three years, none have really held a candle to the original project. Originally released in 2009 for the brand’s fifth anniversary, the colorway is now rumored to return sometime in Fall 2024. This would arrive fifteen years after the OG release, likely marking twenty years of Patta, an appropriate occasion for such a monumental release. The shoe features a white mesh underlay with grey canvas and suede mid layers, adding the iconic ‘Chlorophyll’ green shade to the mudguards, Swooshes, and branding in a twill textile.

PATTA X NIKE AIR MAX 1 ‘CHLOROPHYLL’ 2024 RETRO RELEASE INFORMATION

Patta and Nike will rerelease their iconic ‘Chlorophyll’ pair of the Air Max 1 on September 14th, 2024. Originally released in 2009 for the brand’s fifth anniversary, the 20th anniversary pair will likely be available from both partners as well as select retailers, likely with a price tag around $160. Check out the OG 2009 pair below for a refresher of the color palette, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more sneaker release news.

UPDATE 7/15/24: Over the weekend, Patta’s cofounders shared a photo of them both sporting pairs of the “Chlorophyll” Air Max 1, alongside the singer Tems, who held a box with the signature green shade and 20th anniversary marking. No date has been made available yet, but we hope to see a release soon.

Nike’s Air Max Sunder Gets a “Blue Tint” Wash

Nike’s Air Max Sunder retro has become a full-fledged member of the brand’s current catalog. This Summer, a new lineup of color schemes will hit shelves, including a smooth “Blue Tint” pair, coming soon.

Nike is clearly preparing for a big year for their recent Air Max Sunder retro, with more colors filling out their release lineup on a weekly basis. After the initial rollout in classic neons, followed by a Gore-Tex pack, more styles are emerging regularly, including new denim and premium leather varieties. This week, we have an early look at a new Summer-ready style, featuring a “Blue Tint” palette.

The Air Max Sunder’s return last year was a joyous occasion for long time Air Max heads. The model, originally released in 1999, has never seen a re-release, and now we are getting wave after wave of new colors. This week, a fresh “Blue Tint” pair has come across our timelines, as a part of the Summer lineup. The pair features a light, baby blue shade for the upper, with a darker, more muted blue for the mudguards. The perforated TPU pieces and midsoles come in a said white to complete the look.

NIKE AIR MAX SUNDER “BLUE TINT” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s upcoming “Blue Tint” style of the Air Max Sunder retro does not have a release date yet, but is currently expected to release sometime in Summer 2025. The pale blue palette will be available from both Nike’s SNKRS app and select retailers with its new price tag of $180.

The Nanushka x Asics GEL-Kinetic Fluent Drops March 25th

0

Asics’ rollout of their new GEL-Kinetic Fluent is still progressing slowly. This week, they’ve unveiled their first collaboration for the model, releasing two pairs in partnership with the fashion brand Nanushka.

The GEL-Kinetic Fluent from Asics got its start at the end of 2024, when the Japanese brand released their first pairs as standard in-line models. The new silhouette sat dormant for a couple months, until Lapstone & Hammer helped release the next standard-issue pairs in February. Now, it appears Asics is ready to bring the Fluent to the masses, with the model’s first collaboration from Nanushka.

Nanushka is a London-based fashion brand that was originally founded in Budapest in 2005. Founder and creative director Sandra Sándor has focused on craftsmanship, detail, and fabric, building an elegant, modern wardrobe that combines traditional craft with contemporary design. For their take on the GEL-Kinetic Fluent, the shoe has been reworked slightly, adding a neoprene inner bootie for a more snug fit. Two colorways will be available, the first in a largely tan palette with black and silver accents, and the second in black with off-white contrast accents.
