The Naked x Salomon XT-6 Releases This Week

0

Copenhagen retailer Naked has been supplying their city with sneakers and streetwear focusing their offerings toward women. They have also built a successful collaborative arm, which continues this week with a Salomon XT-6 release.

Naked CPH was founded in 2004, with the goal of providing more sneakers and streetwear-minded fashion to the women of Copenhagen and beyond. Their journey has been a success so far, with the store expanding greatly in the last twenty-plus years to offer a huge variety of brands and footwear options, and with the ability to ship around the world. Along the way, they’ve formed some strong relationships with the brands they partner with, often releasing limited-edition collaborations.

This week, Naked unveiled their next sneaker project, which sees them teaming up with a fellow European brand Salomon, to release their take on the now-iconic XT-6 trail runner. Salomon won over the hearts and fashion sense of sneakerheads during the late 2010s, and has continued to offer their outdoor shoes in exciting colorways. Naked’s take on the XT-6 brings a light “Fairy Tale” pink shade to the shoe’s mesh upper, pairing this with a brown taped mudguard and light pink accents, with just a splash of bright red to complete the look.

Kobe Bryant was a beloved figure in Chinese basketball culture, from his gameplay to the Mamba Mentality, an of course, his footwear. Kobe sneakers are a huge market for Nike in China, and the Mamba himself used to visit the country regularly to attend and coach at camps and special events. This year, the Summer lineup for Nike Kobe releases includes a special pair dedicated to the Chinese High School Basketball League, or CHBL.

Nike formally unveiled their next releases from the Kobe line this week, including the “CHBL” edition of the Kobe 4 Protro. Celebrating youth basketball in China, this special pair dons a bold gradient yellow color scheme. The forefoot of the shoe comes in a Lightning yellow shade, which gradually fades towards the heels to a softer yellow tone. The SNS x adidas GTII “4th Edition” Releases in May

0

SneakersNStuff and adidas have a close collaborative relationship, so much so that the Swedish retailer has not one, but two signature Three Stripes models. This week, they announced their next release of the GTII, the “4th Edition”, coming soon.

Back in 2020, SNS and adidas released their first pairs of the GT, a new silhouette from the Three Stripes that leaned heavily on their vast archive of terrace trainers for a new look. The shoe mixed elements of the Handball with the Samba and others, and made its debut in the updated GTII format in 2023. The new version incorporated a mesh base as opposed to the previous all-suede construction, slimming down the silhouette while adding more options for color blocking.

This week, SNS began teasing their next release of the GTII, marking the silhouette’s 4th edition release. Previous releases have tied the shoes to a new SNS store opening or a city close to their heart, but as of this writing, that story has not been shared yet. The new look features a cool, steel grey shade for its mesh base and suede overlays, tinged with a hint of blue. The leather stripes and heel counters come in a dark navy blue shade, while white tongues and yellow badges brighten the color palette. Finally, dark gum soles complete the look.

SNS X ADIDAS GT II “4TH EDITION” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next installment in SNS and adidas’ ongoing series for their GT II trainer is scheduled to release next month, on May 9th, 2025. The new pair does not currently have a city attached to its release, but the breathable mesh and suede look in cool grey with navy blue and yellow will be available exclusively through SneakersNStuff with the usual price tag of $130.

Nike’s “Dirty White” Air Force 1 Releases This Week

Nike’s .SWOOSH imprint has been experimenting with blending digital and real products into one. this week, they’ve unveiled a new Air Force 1 release in “Dirty White”, a wear-away pair that supposedly gets cleaner with wear.

The wear-away trend in sneakers has become somewhat standard in the industry after the initial release starting popping up in the late 2010. One of Nike’s first forays into this field came with their Stranger Things collaboration, presenting a range of footwear that would transform when the outer layers began to wear away. Now, the .SWOOSH team is joining in on the fun with their “Dirty White” edition of the Air Force 1.

.SWOOSH’s take on the triple-white Air Force is going to be an interesting release to see in-hand. The new “Dirty White” edition reportedly ages in reverse. meaning they’ve applied dirt and stain graphics to the shoe that will wear away over time, eventually becoming a pristine, iconic all-white AF1. While Nike has not explained exactly how this works, it’s hard to imagine a shoe that gets cleaner with each wear, so we are excited to check out this new style.

Nike’s Air Force 1 Low “Escape” Returns This Week

Yesterday, Nike held their second SNKRS Showcase event, taking to their livestream platform on the SNKRS app to unveil a wide range of upcoming new releases and retro. Among the latter category, the hosts showed off a few pairs of the Air Force 1, including a rerelease of the early-2000s “Escape” pair, set to release in Spring 2025.

Nike’s releases in the early 2000s cemented their legacy as the biggest name in the world of sneaker collection. The brand experimented with a wide variety of special-edition releases, even pioneering the modern-day collaboration through a project with Stüssy in 2000. Among their early releases was the “Escape” series in 2003, featuring pairs of the Huarache, Mowabb, Air Trainer, and Air Force 1 in colorways inspired by a getaway to the outdoors. While some pairs from the project have seen rereleases in recent years, the crown jewel of the collection is the Bison Brown pair of the Air Force 1, which is now set to return in Spring 2025.

The “Escape” pair of the Air Force 1 is finally getting a retro release next year. Twenty-one years after its debut, the shoe is regarded amongst the best lifestyle releases for the classic basketball shoe, and Nike is giving their all to the clean color scheme for its return. The leather base layer comes in white with perforations for the toe box and midfoot panels, adding two shades of brown for the nubuck overlays around the toes and heels. Black Swooshes and inner linings balance out the palette, while red Nike branding and a gold lace jewel complete the look.

Nike’s “Deep Royal Blue” Air Zoom Spiridon Drops in May

0

Nike’s latest retro of the Air Zoom Spiridon finally landed early this year, remastering the shoe and dropping in its OG “Sport Red” color. Now, brand new styles have started to emerge, like the “Deep Royal Blue” pair coming in May.

The original Spiridon model from Nike has been remastered, and is back for another retro run. Released in 1997 and an early adopter of the Swoosh’s Zoom technology, the Spiridon played a crucial part in Nike’s early experimentation with pressure mapping. The data received helped Nike improve their cushioning for runners dramatically, and brought the Swoosh into the 21st century of innovation.

Now, the Air Zoom Spiridon is back as a lifestyle shoe, and Nike is fleshing out their catalog with plenty of color options. This week, they’ve added a new “Deep Royal Blue” pair to their May slate. The new look features metallic silver for the shoe’s netting overlay, with the sharp blue color making up the mudguard and the inner lining. Yellow accents outline the lacing system and silver Swooshes, while reflective piping completes the look.

NIKE AIR ZOOM SPIRIDON “DEEP ROYAL BLUE” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s next release of their remastered Air Zoom Spiridon has been scheduled to release next month, on May 8th, 2025. Nike’s “Doll Pink” Dunk Low Nods to the Sex Pistols

Over the last few months, Nike has seemingly quietly been paying homage to the Punk scene of the ’80s and ’90s. The streak continues this season with another edition of the Dunk Low in a “Doll Pink” color scheme.

Several Dunk releases over the past few months have been direct homages to the world of punk music, referencing specific albums and venues. First, they released the “Dunks Not Dead” pair, a riff on ‘Punk’s not dead”, and quickly followed up with the “CBGB” pair, which honored the Manhattan venue that hosted hundreds of iconic bands in its thirty-three year tenure.

This week, another edition of the Dunk Low has surfaced, that seems to be a third installment in this punk-inspired series. The new look features a “Doll Pink” color scheme, which makes up the leather base of the upper. Overlays are added in a printed canvas with a digi-camo or paint splattered look in black and tan, while orange laces and Swooshes complete the look. The final piece is the Nike branding on the heels, which bears a striking resemblance to the Sex Pistols’ logo.

NIKE DUNK LOW “DOLL PINK” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s next new color scheme of growing ode to the punk scene with the Dunk Low has not been announced yet, but is expected in Summer 2025. Featuring a digi-camo print over a Doll Pink base, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for an expected $125.

Nike’s “Green Gusto” Air Max 95 Releases in June

Nike introduced their revised Big Bubble format for the Air Max 95 this season, and are already going big on the remastered version for its anniversary. This week, a new “Green Gusto” colorway has joined their Summer release schedule.

Nike has rolled out their remastered version of the Air Max 95 to celebrate the shoe’s thirtieth anniversary this year. Like the Air Max 1 from a few years ago, this version recreates the shoe’s original larger Air bags in the soles, returning the shoe to is original form. The Big Bubbles had to be modified due to technical limitations at the time, as they kept popping. Now, with thirty more years of Air expertise under the belt, the OG version is back.

Nike appears to be having a lot of fun with their new AM95 releases, with tons of colorways for the Big Bubble format popping up over the last few weeks. Today, we have an official look at the new “Green Gusto” pair, currently expected to release this Summer. This pair builds its signature wavy upper from a mix of white and black textiles, blending mesh, ripstop, and leather for its many layers. One of them comes in the vibrant green shade, with matching Air bags and lacing loops to complete the look.

sacai Reveals Their Nike Zegamadome Releasing May 2025

sacai and Nike have linked up yet again to mash up some classic Swoosh styles into a brand new silhouette. This week, Chitose Abe teased an early look at their new Zegamadome silhouette, a trail-inspired runner coming in Spring 2025 with their next full collection.

The first team-up from Sacai and Nike launched in 2019, and brought us some unique new takes on the Swooshes iconic models. sacai brought their mash-up ideas to Nike, combining models to create their LDWaffle, VaporWaffle, Blazers, and MagmaScapes over the past few years. The collaboration between the two has been a huge success for both brands, and in addition to creating new sneakers they’ve released a number of apparel collections alongside each drop. This week, sacai founder and creative director Chitose Abe has teased their next release, which takes inspiration from trail footwear to create the Zegamadome.

The silhouette features a nylon base layer with suede, nubuck, and TPU overlays, and places that on top of a ZoomX cushioning with rugged Vibram outsoles. Kith Adds Brown Stripes to the adidas ClimaMog for Summer 2025

0

Last Fall, adidas debuted their first-ever fully 3D printed sneaker, the ClimaMog. The model has been dormant since its public debut in October, but returns this Summer with another off-white style, this time with shades of brown for the Three Stripes.

adidas pioneered 3D printing in footwear with their FutureCraft line that debuted back in 2017. Since then, the German brand has been adding 3D printed midsoles to a wide range of their products, mostly in running and lifestyle categories. While other brands are still catching up, like Nike with their Air Max 1000, adidas’ signature SLA printing technique has brought us comfortable and soft soles that are still remarkably responsive and durable.

The Three Stripes took this signature method to the next level last year, with the introduction of the ClimaMog, their first fully-3D-printed sneaker. The shoe’s roots are in the ClimaCool line, which added tons of ventilation into running shoes for better airflow when they first released in 2002. Now, the ClimaMog is back for new colors in Spring and Summer 2025, after taking a break for the rainy months, when shoes full of holes are not exactly a go-to pickup. Their latest color reuses the off-white filament from previous releases, but adds the Three Stripes on the outer walls in shades of brown and tan.

ADIDAS CLIMAMOG “BROWN STRIPE” RELEASE INFORMATION

adidas’ next colorway of their fully 3D-printed ClimaMog silhouette has not been announced yet, but is expected to release sometime in Summer 2025. Once again featuring an off-white base, this pair adds shades of brown for the printed Three Stripes, and will likely be available exclusively through adidas for $140.

Levi’s and Jordan Are Reuniting for an Air Jordan 3 in 2026

In 2018, Levi’s and Jordan Brand teamed up to release one of the most celebrated collaborations of the 2010s, their denim Air Jordan 4. Now, rumors of the two reuniting for Spring 2026 have surfaced, this time with the Air Jordan 3.

2018 was a big year in the world of sneakers. Sneaker culture was at its peak, with the hottest releases still being very limited and hard to get, and multiple brands competing for the top spot. Among the chaos, Jordan Brand had an electric start to the year via their collaboration with Levi’s Denim. The two crafted an indigo blue pair of the Air Jordan 4 that drew lines around the block when they released at the Levi’s headquarters in San Francisco, with similar drops at boutique retailers. They followed up with two more colors in the Summer, before moving on to other sneaker projects.

This week, rumors of Jordan and Levi’s reuniting have hit the timeline, thanks to @SneakerMarketRO and @brandon1an. This time around, the two are rumored to be working on a pair of the Air Jordan 3, slated for a release in Spring 2026. This follow-up to the immensely hyped AJ4 is eight years in the making, and will likely draw similar popularity. The new style will once again feature the iconic indigo-dyed denim, with accents in black and sail white to round out the look. The photo above is a speculative mock-up, and does not reflect the final product.

LEVI’S X AIR JORDAN 3 RELEASE INFORMATION

The new project from Levi’s denim and Jordan Brand has not been announced, and is not expected to release until sometime in Spring 2026. Featuring the Air Jordan 3 for their next release, pairs will likely be available from both Nike and Levi’s as well as select retailers, with an expected price tag of $225.
