0

Nike SB is releasing a retro signature sneaker next year, from Paul Rodriguez. Originally released in 2005, the iconic P-Rod 1 returns next Summer, dressed in an original black & white color scheme.

Paul Rodriguez holds a special place in the history of Nike SB. In 2005, the two released his first signature shoe with the Swoosh, which also marked the first-ever signature model from the SB team. The P-Rod 1 was immensely popular among skaters, and would go on to spawn a ten-shoe signature line for the years to come. In 2025, the two are reviving the OG to celebrate the shoe’s twentieth anniversary.

Paul Rodriguez has shared an early look at the latest retro of his Nike SB P-Rod 1 this week. Dressed in its very first black and white colorway, the shoe features premium leather textiles, the signature ‘R’ monogram print around the heels, and some metallic chrome detailing for the eyelets and tongue branding, as well as a visible air bag.

Thug Club’s adidas Superstar Capsule Releases Next Week

0

Thug Club is a small streetwear label born in Seoul, South Korea, founded in 2018. Their eye-catching designs have landed them a number of collaborations, of which their debut with adidas and the Superstar releases next week.

Thug Club was formed in 2018, and was co-founded by Yeong Min Cho, now the face of the brand. Formerly a fashion design student in Seoul, TC has carved out a corner for themselves through eclectic, unorthodox pieces and bold, eye-catching graphics. They have also lent their unique perspective to larger brands like Fila, MCM, and Gentle Monster. This week, they are adding another partner to their roster, teaming up with adidas to launch a small capsule collection.

Like most first-time adidas collaborator’s Thug Club is working on their own take on a classic Superstar to kick things off. The TC version of the iconic basketball-turned-street sneaker makes some heavy modifications to the toe caps, while leaving the rest of the shoe standard. This version features a molded toe cap with extra large ridges, shedding the usual stippled texture for a smooth finish, and sharper edged. the shoe’s upper is cast in premium black leather with white stripes and their T logo as perforations on the sides. The rest of the capsule includes a pair of camouflage tear-away track pants, a co-branded cotton track jacket, and a white camo cap.

Korean label Thug Club has scheduled their project with adidas to release early next week, on May 12th, 2025. Featuring the iconic Superstar with a reworked toe cap alongside a tracksuit and hat, the capsule collection will be available exclusively through the TC website. Kith x New Balance 2010 Pack Releases in May

With each new year, we can expect some brand new models from New Balance. This month, we’ve seen some early images of the 2010, a fresh silhouette coming this season. Kith is expected to partner on a debut collaboration, teased in their Spring lookbook.

Kith and New Balance have a long-standing relationship, which dates back to the ’00s when founder Ronnie Fieg was designing special colors for footwear retailer David Z. New Balance was one of the first footwear brands to work with Kith, and has maintained a steady relationship with new projects arriving at least once per season. This week, as a part of their Spring 2025 lookbook, Kith has teased an upcoming project featuring the 2010.

The New Balance 2010 is a fresh model for the Boston brand, and one that we currently know very little about. The shoe has only surfaced in one other early look as far as we can find, dressed in a rich brown color scheme. While Kith’s early photos don’t exactly give us much to go on either, they are enough to give us a good idea of what to expect. At least two pairs of the 2010 will be avalable, one in a bright purple mesh with darker purple and blue overlays, and the second in black, with bright orange and 3M accents.

KITH X NEW BALANCE 2010 RELEASE INFORMATION

The next project from Kith and New Balance has not been announced yet, but is expected to release next week on May 16th, 2025, as a part of their Spring collection and SoHo store reopening. The new 2010 model has not even been announced yet, but is expected to launch soon, likely with a handful of collaborations to help kick things off.

Nike’s Air Max Craze Gets a Cool “Smokey Blue” Look

Last month, the Air Max Craze from Nike finally made its long-awaited return after over twenty years. With OG styles currently available, today we have an early look at a new “Smokey Blue” pair, coming soon.

Nike’s 1999 Alpha Project has been a central focus of their retro releases in the past few years, reviving the often wild and unusual sneakers for a new era. The Air Max Sunder is one of the more recent rereleases, while the Air Presto has been a mainstay in the Nike catalog for two decades. This year, they are rolling out yet another Alpha sneaker, the slingback Air Max Craze, which has already landed in its initial OG styles.

The Alpha project had a few distinct design choices that spanned many of the models from the 1999 run. Neoprene uppers and zipper shrouds were the main two, both of which are present on the Air Max Craze. The new look seen here paints the shoe’s form-fitting upper in a cool “Smokey Blue” shade, with a matching jewel Swoosh embedded in the toes. The heel cage, toes, and zipper come in black, with a white sole and blue Air bags underfoot.

NIKE AIR MAX CRAZE “SMOKEY BLUE” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s next colorway of the Air Max Craze does not have an official release date yet, but pairs are expected to start dropping in Summer 2025. Seen here in a fresh “Smokey Blue” shade with black and white, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $170.

adidas’ Adizero Aruku Gets a “Boro Denim” Pack Upgrade

0
adidas adizero aruku boro denim pack

The Adizero Aruku from adidas is the latest bold new silhouette in the Originals team’s catalog. Inspired by their OG Adizero shoe from the early 2000s, this high-performance casual shoe is getting a “Boro Denim” pack this Summer.

adidas first introduced their Aruku silhouette in Fall 2024, after teasing the model on the feet of influencers and artists over the Summer. The model’s name comes from the Japanese verb “to walk”, firmly presenting the new style as a casual, everyday wear offering. The model is one of their first Originals shoes to feature the Swirlfoam cushioning underfoot, as well as a rocker shape to help propel you forward.

This week, we have an early look at a new “Boro Denim” pack for the Aruku. Boro is a traditional Japanese art of repairing denim by adding new pieces of the fabric to cover older worn areas, usually paired with sashiko stitching to create the timeless look. The last time we saw Boro in an adidas release was the END. x Bodega Iniki runner from 2017. For this new two-pack, colors come in either a classic indigo blue wash or a dark black style. The former adds a lighter blue cage overlay, while black is paired with a dark grey tone. Both feature brown leather heel counters and gum soles.

ADIDAS ADIZERO ARUKU “BORO DENIM” PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

adidas Originals has not yet announced the release of their new Adizero Aruku colorways, but we expect them to release sometime in Summer 2025. Featuring two styles for the “Boro Denim” pack, in black or blue options, pairs will likely be available from both adidas and select retailers. The price tag is estimated to be $140, but could be higher for this distinct look.

adidas AE1 Low “Metallic Grey” Releasing in May

0

Coming off of a phenomenal year in 2024, adidas has a wide range of styles for the AE1 coming in 2025. This week, we got an official look at a new “Metallic Grey” tonal style, mixing light and dark shades of grey in a simple palette.

Anthony Edwards’ first signature shoe with adidas is one of the few performance models in the last decade to rack up Sneaker of the Year nominations. The model made its debut last December in its high-cut version, before the more approachable, low-top variant debuted this Summer. Since then, the Three Stripes has been laser focused on the Low, issuing new colors every few weeks.

This month has brought us a wave of early looks at new pairs of the AE1 Low coming next year. Most of these styles have followed the same color blocking as most previous release; black mesh, colored cage element. Today, we have a first look at the “Metallic Grey” pair, which diverges from their winning formula for an interesting new look. The pair sports a light, almost cream-colored mesh base, adding its overlays and cage in both light and dark shades of grey. The main sidewalls use two colors, a design choice rarely seen so far with the AE1.

ADIDAS AE1 LOW “METALLIC GREY” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next colorway of Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE1 Low has not been announced for release yet, but is currently expected for a Spring 2025 release. Dressed in shades of grey with a two-tine cage piece, pairs will be available from the Three Stripes and select retailers for $110.

Nike SB Dunk Low Goes “Midnight Navy” for Spring 2026

Image via Sneaker Market RO

Sneaker leakers are some of the most ambitious members of our community, sharing insights into upcoming releases often a year ahead of time. This week, SneakerMarket.RO has shared information regarding a “Midnight Navy” Nike SB Dunk coming in Spring 2026.

The SB version of the iconic Nike Dunk has maintained its relevancy for over two decades now, and is arguably one of the most important sneakers of all time. The SB Dunk’s relation to the streetwear explosion in the mid ’00s cannot be understated, and the model is just as popular, and hard to get, today as it was in 2005. The SB team’s model for delivering new colors every month, exclusively through skate shops, has made them one of the hardest in-line releases to get a hold of. Luckily, the abundance of styles gives you a much better chance each season.

This week, we have another new colorway of the SB Dunk Low to add to our release calendar for next year. Shared by SneakerMarket.RO, their information gives us the color palette and style code for the new release, which isn’t expected until Spring 2026. The look features a Midnight Navy base for the upper, adding the signature Baroque Brown color for the overlays. Small accents will be added in Adobe red and Neutral Olive. The image above is just a speculative mockup, and does not reflect the product that will release next year.

NIKE SB DUNK LOW “MIDNIGHT NAVY” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike SB’s latest new Dunk Low colorway to cross our timelines has not been announced yet, and is not expected to release until the Spring 2026 season. Dressed in a muted mix of Midnight Navy blue and Baroque Brown shades, pairs will be available from both SB skate shops and Nike for $125.
