The Air Jordan 3 “Seoul 2.0” is Now Available

Jordan Brand releases a lot of retro editions of their iconic sneakers, but some hit harder than most. This year, they are rumored to release a 2.0 version of the “Seoul” Air Jordan 3 from 2018, with some updated colors in its palette.

Back in 2018, Jordan Brand tapped designers Tinker Hatfield and Dan Sunwoo to design a new pair of the Air Jordan 3 to commemorate the 1988 Olympic Games in the South Korean capital city. The pair was a fan-favorite of that year, but was only available exclusively in Korea before a wider Asia release came in 2020, but only in women’s sizing. Now, it appears Jordan is bringing back the special style for a new 2.0 release, and hopefully, wider availability.

The “Seoul 2.0” version of the Air Jordan 3 spruces up the shoe’s original design just a bit, adding some elements of retro sneakers that have grown immensely popular in the last eight years since its release. The 2.0 version retains the white leather upper paired with a royal blue color and red inner lining. However, this pair’s elephant print panels have been swapped to suede, and now feature a warmer grey color with less distinctive patterns. The midsole has been changed from all white to an aged yellow look, adding a cement grey outsole for more depth. The original featured “Harmony and Peace” embroidered inside the tongues in Korean, though it is currently unclear if that detail returns for the new release.

AIR JORDAN 3 “SEOUL 2.0” RELEASE INFORMATION

The new and updated version of the Air Jordan 3 “Seoul” is scheduled to release on May 17th, 2025. Featuring a revised elephant print panel and aged midsole, the second edition will likely be available from both SNKRS and select retailers with a price tag of $200.

Junya Watanabe x New Balance 471 Releases in Fall 2025

0

The eponymous Junya Watanabe label has been teaming up with New Balance regularly to craft footwear for their seasonal collections. This week, the two showed off a fresh release for FW25, featuring two colors of the 471 trainer.

New Balance is running wild with their upcoming collaborations at Paris Fashion Week, with a wide range of labels showing off upcoming projects. Japan’s AURALEE showed off their take on the T500, and CdG’s Homme is helping to revive the 509 runner from the early 2010s. Junya Watanabe has also shown off one of their upcoming releases, which features the 471, a model expected to arrive sometime this year.

Currently, the jury is still out on whether the New Balance 471 is an archival model, or a brand new silhouette designed with the vintage aesthetics of 1970s running shoes. The slim profile and minimal midsole are obvious nods to that era, and Junya Watanabe has crafted two colors in different material builds for their release. First, an all-grey style mixes a mesh base with shaggy suede uppers, while the second pair in black & white mixes a leather base with the same hairy suede outer layers.

JUNYA WATANABE X NEW BALANCE 471 RELEASE INFORMATION

The next seasonal footwear from Junya Watanabe’s eponymous label and New Balance does not have a release date yet, but is expected to drop during the Fall/Winter 2025 season. Featured in either all-black or all-grey color palettes, pairs of the 471 will likely be available exclusively though Junya retailers. No pricing information is available yet.

G-Shock Brings Timepieces to the Crocs Echo Wave

0

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Crocs is one of the most prolific collaborators in the world of footwear. This week, they’ve announced a new project with G-Shock, combining watches with their Echo Wave clog.

Crocs has been on a roll for the last few years, updating their catalog with tons of new styles and plenty of collaborations to go around. Their first big hit in the sneaker world came via their partnership with Salehe Bembury, the designer-for-hire that has his hands full with projects from a huge variety of brands. They have tapped brands like BAPE, DragonBall, Pokemon, Swarovski, and more for releases, and that’s just in 2025 so far. This month, their new Echo Wave model is getting an upgrade courtesy of G-Shock.

G-Shock rarely ventures into the world of footwear, but their upcoming release with Crocs is a worthy release for the iconic watchmaker. Featuring the Echo Wave, a clog model defined by its swooping lines, they’ve crafted a unique take that includes one of their wrist watches to wear on your wrist and your shoes. The shoe itself is cast in a full white build, adding marbled straps around the heels. The shoe and accompanying watch are fully glow-in-the-dark, and the watch bezel has a housing attachment at the collar of the shoe. The watch strap also comes in a marbled pattern to match the sneaker.

G-SHOCK X CROCS ECHO WAVE RELEASE INFORMATION

The upcoming project from G-Shock and Crocs has been scheduled to release later this month, on May 27th, 2025. Featuring the Echo Wave, a clog silhouette aimed towards sneakerheads, the glow-in-the-dark model with a watch attachment will be available from both partners, as well as select retailers, for $200.

Liberty London Brings Floral Jacquard to the adidas Samba

0

Liberty London, the iconic bazaar-style retailer of luxury goods, returns to footwear this month for another release with adidas. The latest drop brings a floral jacquard textile to the Samba, dressed in light hues for Summer.

London’s Liberty retailer has a long and storied history in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1875, the store aimed to provide a one-stop shop for high-end and luxury goods from all over the world. Their store has grown over the years, currently occupying a massive Tudor-style building with six full floor of wares sourced from all over the globe. Additionally, they design and mill their own line of fabrics, which they’ve lent to adidas for their ongoing sneaker collaboration.

After the debut of Liberty London x adidas early this year, the two are back with a fresh release to kick off the Summer late this month. This release centers on the Samba, a historic sneaker in British fashion, once again using a floral pattern. The pair features a jacquard textile base layer in pink and white with a floral pattern, and adds bright red leather accents for the Three Stripes and heel tabs, as well as off-white leather toes and eyestays to complete the look.

LIBERTY LONDON X ADIDAS SAMBA “FLORAL” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next release from London fabric maker Liberty and adidas has been scheduled to release later this month, on May 30th, 2025. The adidas AE2 “Lucid Orange” Releases for All-Star 2026

After months of waiting and several leaks during the sampling and design process, the adidas AE2 is almost here. This week, information regarding Anthony Edwards’ sophomore sneaker in “Lucid Orange” has surfaced, dropping during All Star 2026.

The success of Anthony Edwards’ first signature shoe with adidas, the AE1, has been one of the highlights of the sneaker world over the last year and change. The model made its debut about 18 months ago, and quickly became one of the most sought-after basketball shoes on the market, thanks to an eye-catching, but wearable design, low price point, and full-family sizing options. Now, the AE2 is in the pipeline, and is coming soon.

The last news we got regarding the adidas AE2 came early this year, when adidas showed the model briefly during one of their earnings calls. Now, we have the first information regarding the shoe’s release, though this is specifically a color for All-Star Weekend in 2026, so we will likely see the model debut before then. The “Lucid Orange” pair seen here features many similar design details as the original, adding some new swooping panels and replacing the honeycomb outer shell entirely. This pair features metallic accents and a white toe cap to complete the look.

ADIDAS AE2 “LUCID ORANGE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The first official release of Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE2 sneaker is set for next year, on February 12th, 2026. We will likely see the shoe hit shelves before then, but this is the first actual information regarding a release for the sophomore signature shoe. Additionally, pricing for this model is set at $130.

Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low Unveiled in a Red Colorway

0

The sneaker world is no stranger to iconic collaborations, and the Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low is a testament to this. This year, the sneaker community was treated to a delightful surprise as Fat Joe, the legendary hip-hop artist, unveiled a new colorway of this iconic silhouette.

Fat Joe’s association with Nike and the Terror Squad has been long-standing, with the initial debut of the Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 dating back to 2005. This collaboration was once a friends-and-family exclusive, making it one of the most sought-after pairs in sneaker history. The recent unveiling of the red colorway has reignited the excitement around this collaboration.

The shoe’s design remains true to its roots, boasting a pristine white leather base complemented by vibrant red overlays. The shoe’s standout features include the embroidered Terror Squad logo on the heel and the initials “JC” – a nod to Fat Joe’s nickname, Joey Crack. The white midsole and red “AIR” lettering add a touch of elegance to this two-toned masterpiece.

CLOT x adidas Superstar Breathe “Pink” Drops Next Week

0

Edison Chen’s CLOT label is back with another adidas project this week. The two are returning to their mesh Superstar Breathe silhouette for this release, coating the shoe in a soft pink shade for a Summer-ready vibe.

Edison Chen and CLOT’s releases with adidas have so far been largely inspired by formal dress shoes. Borrowing elements from oxfords and brogues to create new, upscale versions of the Superstar, the two have crafted a unique lane for themselves, and something unlike most standard collaborations between streetwear and sneaker brands. One of their outliers is the Superstar Breathe, a reimagining of the iconic shoe with a mesh upper for warmer weather. This month, the model returns with a new colorway.

The CLOT x adidas Superstar Breathe originally released last Fall, debuting in navy blue and mint green colorways. However, this came right at the start of the rainy season, making them tough to wear for the next few months. This week, the Breathe variant has surfaced in a new soft pink color scheme, a perfect release for the Summer. The pair coats the entire upper in the light pink hue, and provides three different lace options for some customization, as well as a cinch tote for a dustbag.

CLOT X ADIDAS SUPERSTAR BREATHE “PINK” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next release fro CLOT and adidas has been scheduled to release next week, on May 23rd, 2025. Featuring a new colorway of their mesh Superstar Breathe model, the light pink hue will be available from both partners as well as select retailers, with a price tag of $150.

New Balance’s 1000 Surfaces in an “Ice Blue” Look

0

In 2024, New Balance revived their 1000 model, an older running shoe repurposed for their lifestyle catalog. This week, a new colorway of the model has emerged from their Summer 2025 lineup, featuring breathable mesh and an “Ice Blue” color scheme.

The return of the New Balance 1000 last year marked another notch in the brand’s belt of having their finger on the pulse of fashion trends. The Boston brand was already immensely popular in the retro runner space, and bringing back the 1000 nailed the Y2K aesthetic that has been so popular over the last few years. Nearly every major collaborator has given their spin to the sleek silhouette, but New Balance still has some gas left in the tank for their in-line styles.

The 1000 is getting a refresh from New balance this season, updating the silhouette with some new materials and bright color schemes for the Summer. This week, we have an early look at a new pair in “Ice Blue”, which adds a more breathable mesh base layer under the shoe’s synthetic outer shell. The base and midsole of the shoe come in white, while the pale blue shades makes up the outer layers, with a gel N logo to complete the look.

NEW BALANCE 1000 “ICE BLUE” RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance’s upcoming fresh style of the 1000 runner has not been announced yet, but is coming soon during the Summer 2025 season. Dressed in “ice Blue” overlays with a white mesh base, pairs will be available from both the brand’s website and select retailers with the usual $150 price tag.

Nike’s “Wolf Grey” Air Trainer Huarache Coming Soon

Nike Air Trainer Huarache Wolf Grey IH4469-012

Nike teamed up with Corteiz late last year to release special-edition pairs of the ’90s Air Huarache Trainer. Now, the model is making a comeback this year as an in-line style, with a “Wolf Grey” pair coming soon.

Nike first introduced their Air Huarache running shoe in 1991, pioneering the use of form-fitting neoprene in footwear. In the years to follow, Tinker Hatfield would continue to iterate on his design, transforming the model for basketball, football, baseball, and everything in between. The middle ground model, the Air Huarache Trainer, was suitable for all sports purposes, and has frequently been retro’d as a lifestyle shoe ever since.

This year, after the successful Corteiz pairs in December, new in-line styles have slowly trickled out onto shelves, with more coming this Summer. Today we have an early look at a new pair in “Wolf Grey”, coming soon. This style features a black neoprene for the shoe’s internal layers, which are protected by an outer shell in a light grey suede. The midsole adds all the color for this release, coming in a bright “Star Blue” rubber.

Over the past year, we’ve seen a number of teases for Travis Scott’s first signature shoe with Nike. After being known as the Sharkidon, or Shark-A-Don, we recently got some official images of the “Sail” white color scheme, which revealed the silhouette’s actual name; the Zoom Field Jaxx.
