Salehe Bembury’s Second New Balance 1000 Releases in 2025

Salehe Bembury’s New Balance collaborations remain some of the best work he has released in recent years. This month, his take on the 1000 made its debut, but we are still waiting on official release info for the “Sunset” pair he teased early this Summer.

Salehe Bembury is one of the busiest designers in the world of sneakers and footwear. Formerly a lead designer for Yeezy and Versace, Bembury struck out on his own as a freelance collaborator in 2020, making his debut with New Balance and an incredibly popular 2002R. Since then, he’s lent his talents to a number of brands, while continuing to release regular projects with New Balance. Just this week, PUMA unveiled his first design for them, Tyrese Haliburton’s Hali 1 in “Opal” blue. Earlier this month, he dropped a striking blue pair of the NB 1000, and today we have a closer look at the multicolor look he first teased earlier this year.

The second style of the New Balance 1000 from Salehe has been largely kept under wraps since his first teaser. This week, SneakerNews published photos up close and personal with the second style, which appears to take its color inspiration from a gorgeous sunset. The look features a gradient across the upper, matching the colors between the mesh underlay and synthetic overlays. The color change starts in a dark navy blue at the toe, transitioning to purple around the midfoot, and finally shades of pink at the rear. Bold yellow midsoles sit underneath, while yellow and red accents and a white suede toe cap complete the look.

SALEHE BEMBURY X NEW BALANCE 1000 “SUNSET” RELEASE INFORMATION

The second colorway of the New Balance 1000 by Salehe Bembury has not been announced for release yet, but is coming soon for Fall 2025. This pair sports a wide range of colors, and our best guess as to the inspiration is a stunning sunset. Like usual, pairs will likely be released first from his Spunge website, followed by a wider release from New Balance. This pair will also carry a price tag of $160.

Nike’s Carbon Fiber Foamposite One Releases October 2025

Nike’s Foamposite is building up to an impressive string of new releases throughout 2025. This week, rumors of a new Foamposite One style have surfaced, which will give the model’s molded upper a carbon fiber makeover.

Nike’s Foamposite sneakers quickly became an icon of street sneaker culture after their debut in 1997. The molded plastic shoe has an inimitable style, with an aggressive stance and wavy lines for an entirely unique look that has not been replicated since. This year, Nike is going all in on their revival of the Foamposite One and Pro models, which started off with a retro of the “Galaxy” pair last week.

Nike has many more releases for the Foam planned for the rest of the year, bringing back classic styles in addition to brand new ones. This week, new leaks have suggested that a special pair is in the works for a holiday release, which will give the shoe a carbon fiber makeover. Usually, the carbon fiber portion of the shoe is limited to just the arches on the sole, but now the entire upper will feature a pattern printed across the molded upper. The whole shoe being made from carbon fiber is highly unlikely due to the price.

NIKE FOAMPOSITE ONE “CARBON FIBER” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike has not set an official release date for another Foamposite One yet, but the “Carbon Fiber” pair is expected to arrive sometime during the Fall 2025 season. Dressed in dark green and black, pairs will be available from Nike and select retailers for $240.

Release Date: October 10th, 2025

UPDATE 9/15/25: FootLocker’s official photos of the “Carbon Fiber” Foamposite are here, along with a confirmed release in October. Oddly, their photos seem to eliminate the blue hue of the outsole seen in Nike’s unveiling images.

UPDATE 8/28/25: This Foamposite release is now rumored to drop on October 10th, 2025. No official photos are available yet.

UPDATE 7/8/25: Nike has officially unveiled the “Carbon Fiber” Foamposite today, during their SNKRS Showcase livestream. Pairs will release this Fall.

END. & Saucony Find Peace With Their “Olive Branch” Pack

0

British retailer END. Clothing has been on fire this year with their sneaker collaborations. The store is celebrating twenty years in business in 2025, and has tapped all of their partners for special releases. This week, Saucony’s Omni 9 and Shadow 6000 make up the “Olive Branch” pack.

END. Clothing has built a reputation as one of streetwear’s most prolific collaborators, constantly bridging culture, art, heritage, and fashion. Since its founding, END. has launched limited-edition capsules with a wide array of brands ranging from heritage denim and sportswear makers like Levi’s, Champion, and adidas, to outdoor specialists like Salomon, avant-garde designers like Needles, and many more. Their collaboration strategy emphasizes storytelling, with themes rooted in British culture (like the seaside, corner shop, or nightlife), reimagined archival references, and careful curation. This week, the store announced their latest work for 2025, another entry in their twenty year anniversary celebration.

This week’s anniversary release from END. celebrates World Peace Day, which falls on Sunday the 21st. They’ve tapped Saucony to help with this release, highlighting two classic silhouettes from the running brand for a new “Olive Branch” pack. First up, the ProGrid Omni 9 comes dressed in a white color scheme with slight green accents. The highlight of this pair is its mesh base, which features an intricate, seashell-inspired pattern from toe to heel. The second silhouette in the project is the Shadow 6000, a model originally released in 1991. This pair sports a mix of smooth & shaggy cuts of suede, bearing the same bold green shade. White accents make up the branding and midsoles. Both pairs in the pack feature olive branch embroidery on the inner walls, replacing the Saucony river logo.

END. X SAUCONY “OLIVE BRANCH” PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

Britain’s END. Clothing and Saucony have lined up their new “Olive Branch” pack to release this week, on September 19th, 2025. Featuring the ProGrid Omni 9 and the Shadow 6000 as their canvasses, both pairs are dressed in a mix of white and green hues with olive branch details. END. is currently accepting raffle submissions for both pairs via their Launches platform, with the Omni 9 priced at $215 and the Shadow 6000 at $190.

PHANTACI Redesigns the Nike Air Max 95 With a Wood-Inspired Look

Taiwanese retailer PHANTACI has reunited with Nike this year, following up on their release of the Grand Piano Air Max 1 last year. This time, they’ve given the Air Max 95 a new makeover, dressing the runner in a wood grain pattern.

PHANTACI has been one of Taiwan’s premier sneaker and streetwear retailers since its founding in 2006. Founded in part by Jay Chou, a superstar musician, the store focused on streetwear and blending music, art, and fashion. In 2009, they released their first and only collaboration with Nike, the “Grand Piano” themed Air Max 1. That release was formally retro’d in 2024, with PHANTACI once again signing on to help with the re-release. Now, the two have cooked up another special release, coming soon.

The next project from PHANTACI and Nike once again remixes an iconic Air Max shoe, this time featuring the 95, which is still deep in its anniversary celebration in 2025. PHANTACI has been given the opportunity to rework the classic model a little bit, namely by altering the lacing system, removing the usual woven webbing loops in favor or a traditional eyestay in supple leather. Additionally, paracord loops stretch down the sides of the shoes to the midsole, acting as a secondary layer of eyestays. Teh rest of the shoe is given a wood-themed look, with a grain-like pattern applied to the lower layers of the upper, and an intricate woven mesh at the top. The color starts in dark brown for the upper pieces, lightening to a pale tan shade at the soles.

PHANTACI X NIKE AIR MAX 95 “WOOD GRAIN” RELEASE INFORMATION

The new project from Taiwanese retailer PHANTACI and Nike has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to release sometime soon in 2025. Featuring a reworked pair of the Air Max 95 with a visible lacing system and wood grain detailing across its layers, pairs will likely be available from both partners and select retailers. This special release will likely come with a price tag over the $200 threshold, though this information is not available yet.

The PUMA Hali 1 Debuts This Month in “Opal” Blue

0

After being teased during the NBA’s All-Star Weekend in February, Tyrese Haliburton and PUMA are finally ready to release the Hali 1. Designed by Salehe Bembury, the shoe will make its debut this month in a bold “Opal” blue color scheme.

The Puma Hali 1 is Tyrese Haliburton’s first signature sneaker with Puma, designed by Salehe Bembury. It features a low‐cut silhouette with a lightweight, breathable mesh upper and synthetic overlays for support. The cushioning is Puma’s NITRO foam, and the outsole is translucent with traction and stability elements. The debut “Hibiscus” colorway, a bold pink tone inspired by Haliburton’s childhood first pair of basketball shoes, launched during the 2025 NBA Finals with a broader release set for September 2025. Now, a second launch colorway has emerged, arriving later this month.

Our first look at the Hali 1 was back in February, when PUMA and Tyrese unveiled the new sneaker during the NBA All-Star Weekend. Unveiled in the soft pink “Hibiscus” colorway, they’ve changed their choice of the first publicly available style to a new “Opal” style, releasing later this month. This pair mixes shades of blue across the mesh base layer and plastic cage piece, using hues of “Blissful Blue” and “Royal Sapphire”. The tongue branding and PUMA logos come in a soft, pastel green to complete the look.

PUMA HALI 1 “HIBISCUS” RELEASE INFORMATION

Tyrese Haliburton’s debut model with PUMA, the Hali 1, finally has a release date, making its debut later this month on September 26th, 2025. Designed in part by Salehe Bembury, the shoe’s “Opal” blue colorway will be the shoe’s first wide release, available from both PUMA and select retailers. Pricing for this new model has been set at $130.

Air Jordan 4 “Sierra Red” Releasing Spring 2026

Jordan Brand continues to push boundaries with women’s exclusive releases. The Air Jordan 4 “Sierra Red” leads that charge in 2026. This colorway fuses bold red accents with elegant neutral tones for a powerful aesthetic.

The design combines Pale Ivory, Sierra Red, and Tough Red, crafting a clean yet fierce look. Pale Ivory covers most of the upper, giving the sneaker a light and luxurious feel. Meanwhile, Sierra Red energizes the wing eyelets, Jumpman logos, and mesh netting underlay.

Moreover, the mix of reds adds vibrant depth without overwhelming the silhouette. This balance allows the shoe to remain versatile and fashion-forward. The signature Air Jordan 4 structure brings familiarity, while the colorway keeps things fresh.

Jordan Brand fans will love the nod to classic color blocking. At the same time, the “Sierra Red” offers something new with its layered red-on-red details. This sneaker blends performance DNA with fashion statement energy.

Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” Releasing Spring 2026

Jordan Brand is set to bring back a modern classic in Spring 2026 with the return of the Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey”. Originally released in 2011, this iconic sneaker will make its first-ever retro appearance, marking its 15th anniversary with a clean and nostalgic comeback.

The “Wolf Grey” colorway quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its sleek design and premium materials. The shoe features a light graphite and wolf grey nubuck upper, contrasted by crisp white stitching and signature details like the embroidered “23” on the heel and reflective silver tongues. A translucent mesh panel, white shark teeth on the midsole, and a smoky translucent outsole add depth and dimension to the design.

Staying true to the original silhouette crafted by legendary designer Tinker Hatfield, the 2026 edition retains the fighter plane–inspired look with subtle updates in construction and comfort. Whether you’re a longtime collector or a new sneaker enthusiast, the “Wolf Grey” brings timeless appeal and versatility to any rotation.

Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sesame” Releasing Fall 2025

It looks like 2023 will be featuring its own Off-White Nike Air Force 1 Low release with a new “Desert Tan” surfacing for a rumored release later this year.

The last couple of Off-White Air Force 1 Low releases have found themselves on the brighter side of the color palette but it looks like 2023 will feature a variation that everyone can sport. While just a rumor for now, no leaked images of the offering has surfaced but the pair is expected to feature a smooth AF1 leather upper which is detailed in a Desert Tan shade while chrome Swoosh logos are stitched onto the sides. Off-White branding will be included on the inner panelings as usual while “AIR” will be stamped on the Desert Tan rubber midsole in black. A matching outsole will be placed underneath and who can forget the signature Off-White hang-tag which will be clamped down to the lacing system.

OFF-WHITE NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW DESERT TAN RELEASE INFORMATION

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low is expected to release later this year via select Nike retailers and Nike.com (Nike SNKRS). Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sesame”
Color: Sesame/Silver
Style Code: FD6900-200
Release Date: Fall 2025
Price: $150

UPDATE 8/18/25: It is finally happening. Nike’s official imagery of the “Sesame” Air Force 1 Low, originally designed by Virgil Abloh for Off-White, are here. Release windows for this drop are largely speculative as of this writing, but the release will come in Fall 2025. Additionally, the photos show that Off-White’s branding has been removed entirely from the shoes. This is likely due to the brand being sold off about a year ago, and Nike likely couldn’t come to an agreement with the new owners to use OW branding.

UPDATE 6/1/25: Originally rumored to drop in Qatar back in 2022, the sesame Off-White AF1 is now confirmed for Fall 2025. Stay tuned for an exact date as well as more information.

Jordan Brand has a ton of retro heat coming back this year, reviving some of the most iconic colorways from the past twenty years. This week, news of the 2011 Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo”, along with in-hand images, has surfaced, coming soon.

In 2011, Jordan Brand opened a new flagship store in Tokyo, Japan, dubbed Jordan Tokyo 23. To celebrate the occasion, the Jumpman released an extremely rare, and very limited edition of the Air Jordan 5 exclusively at the store’s grand opening. The shoe has gone on to become a Holy Grail in the sneaker world, due to its limited nature, special branding details, and the golden yellow shade that was a rare color to find on Jordan shoes in that era.

This year, Jordan Brand is finally bringing the Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo” to the masses. Over the weekend, in-hand images of a new version surfaced online, with a full slate of information including color and style codes, updated pricing, and a release date in September. The retro release will likely be available globally, both from Nike and their retail partners. The look features a stunning yellow shade across a smooth suede upper, adding grey accents for the tongues, eyestays, and plastic mesh panels, with black accents to complete the look.

PATTA Shares an Early Look at Their Nike Air Max Dn8 for Fall 2025

PATTA Nike Air Max Dn8 IB4029-001

The Netherlands’ Patta is off to a strong start with their Nike releases this year. This week, another style has appeared on our radar, featuring the Swoosh’s Air Max Dn8 in a black and silver build sporting the Patta logo across the tongues.

Amsterdam-based brand Patta has been a longtime collaborative partner of Nike’s. Over the years, the two have released some truly iconic styles, which started with their “Chlorophyll” Air Max 1 in 2009 for the brand’s fifth anniversary. Since then, most of their releases have been centered on Air Max models, particularly the 1 and 90 silhouettes, though they’ve dabbled in Huaraches, Air Spans, and an AM95/90 hybrid. Still fresh off the release of their “Waves” AM90 series, they seem to have several more releases lined up for 2025.

Earlier this season, Patta shared a sneak peak at another Nike release expected to arrive this year, featuring the CryoShot Mercurial, a soccer boot adapted to be a lifestyle model. Now, a high-ranking member of the Patta team, @edsonbarbapapa, has teased their version of the Air Max Dn8. Released early this year, the model features eight Dynamic Air tubes in its soles, and recently had a collab with Better Gift Shop to bolster its reputation. Patta’s take on the model is eye-catching, mixing a glossy black patent leather shell with greyscale mesh underlays, starting in white at the front and fading to dark grey towards the heels. The look is completed by a few blue accents, Patta branding on the tongues, and a branded carabiner attached.

PATTA X NIKE AIR MAX DN8 RELEASE INFORMATION

Patta has not yet announced a release date for their next Nike project, but the sneakers are expected to release in Fall 2025. Featuring the Dn8 in a glossy black patent leather finish, the new style will likely be available from both partners and select retailers, and is expected to come with a price tag of $230.
