The Air Jordan 3 OG “True Blue” Will Return in Fall 2026

Air Jordan 3 OG True Blue 2016 release
2016 Release Shown

Jordan Brand’s archives are full of classic and iconic sneakers, with fan-favorite colorways that are constantly being reinterpreted. This week, the Air Jordan 3’s OG “True Blue” look has leaked as a potential retro release for Fall 2026.

The Air Jordan 3 has been widely regarded as one of the best mainline Jordan models since the shoe debuted back in 1988. Cited alongside many of the early numbered pairs like 1s, 4s, 5s, and more (sorry AJ2, I still love you), the 3 remains an essential piece of the Jordan catalog to this day, though it presents as a lifestyle shoe in 2025. The 3 was our introduction to the elephant print pattern now synonymous with Jordan retros, as well as introducing the semi-controversial Jumpman logo, replacing the Nike Air and Wings logos previously seen on Jordan models.

This week, we have a new leak for the 2026 release calendar, and its a good one. Next Fall, the OG “True Blue” colorway of the Air Jordan 3 will return, after its last retro release in 2016. Decades and multiple retro releases later, this colorway still hits just as hard. The look features a pristine white leather upper, two-tone grey elephant print panels, and accents on deep royal blue and Varsity Red. As of now, it is unclear if this 3 release will feature the Nike Air or Jumpman logo on the heels.

AIR JORDAN 3 OG “TRUE BLUE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next release of an OG colorway for the Air Jordan 3 has not been announced yet, but is currently expected to arrive during the Fall 2026 season. The classic “True Blue” style is coming back about ten years after its last release in 2016, and is a must for longtime fans of the model. Pairs will be avialable through both Nike and select retailers for an expected $220.

The Air Jordan 11 Joins the 2025 “Rare Air” Collection

Jordan Brand is reviving their “Rare Air” line for 2025, this time rolling out a wide range of their mainline styles for the updated project. This week, the Air Jordan 11 has joined the fun, and will release in a navy blue and red colorway to match its counterparts.

The original Air Jordan Rare Air project released back in 2015, and exclusively featured the Air Jordan 1. The releases were released in celebration of the shoe’s thirty year anniversary, and were notable for their lack of the Wings logo on the collar, replacing it with the Air Jordan text instead. Now, with the brand’s fortieth anniversary around the corner, they are reviving the Rare Air project with some new styles.

Next year’s revival of the Rare Air series will feature a number of iconic JB silhouettes. The AJ1, AJ3, and AJ4 will all be included, and joined by a shared color scheme in red, white, blue, and black. This week, the Air Jordan 11 has surfaced as a part of the collection, though no sample images have appeared yet. The shoe is expected to come in a mostly navy blue upper, with red accents and a sail/muslin sole combination underneath.

AIR JORDAN 11 “RARE AIR” RELEASE INFORMATION

The 2007 Air Jordan 3 “Orange Citrus” Sample Releases Globally in Spring 2026

Jordan Brand has gone deep on their archives over the past year, delivering ultra-limited or previously mythical-level styles to the masses with wide releases. Next year, the “Orange Citrus” Air Jordan 3 sample from 2007 is getting that treatment, releasing in the Spring.

Jordan Brand has produced some of the most iconic sneakers in the world over the last twenty-five years. Some of these pairs were limited in nature, given only to select athletes, made exclusively for the brand’s F&F, or just straight up hard to get, like the Undefeated Jordan 4. Others never even saw the light of day, made as one-off samples to test ideas or specific colors, only to be shelved in the brand’s archives in perpetuity. One of these shelved samples is the 2007 “Orange Citrus” Air Jordan 3, which is now rumored to release to the public in 2026.

The simple white and orange color scheme of the Air Jordan 3 first appeared back in 2007, or at least, was commissioned by an employee at Jordan in that year. Currently, one pair resides in the hands of the general public, owned by Index Portland, a well-known consignment store that has a knack for getting their hands on rare Nike product. The look sports a crisp white leather upper with small hints of grey for the plastic inserts. The elephant print panels add the bright orange color accent, which also appears on the outsoles and inner linings. The Jumpman logo on the heel comes in Fire Red to complete the look.

AIR JORDAN 3 “ORANGE CITRUS” RELEASE INFORMATION

Previously only a mythical sample originating in 2007, the Air Jordan 3 in “Orange Citrus” is now expected to release publicly next year, on April 25th, 2026. The clean white style with an orange trim has been sitting and waiting patiently for a public release for nearly two decades, and will land at both Nike and select retailers when it arrives. Pairs are expected to cost $205.

The Air Max Plus Stars in the Next Eastside Golf x Nike Collection

Eastside Golf has been cooking with Nike over the last few years. This week, their next Swoosh collaboration surfaced ahead of an official unveiling. The star of the show is this Air Max Plus, featuring a reworked cage to add Eastside’s branding to the silhouette.

Eastside Golf is a lifestyle-apparel brand founded in 2019 by Morehouse College golf teammates Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl Cooper, aimed at making golf more inclusive & culturally relevant. They combine streetwear vibe with classic golf elements, using bold graphics, script/dance-like branding, and their signature “Swingman” logo of a Black man in casual attire swinging a club. Several years ago, Eastside landed a partnership with Nike, crafting collections of footwear and apparel for the course through the Swoosh lens.

This week, the next footwear from Eastside Golf’s next Nike released has surfaced, ahead of its presumed Fall release. The project will include the Victory Tour 4 as the dedicated golf shoe, but the Air Max Plus also makes an appearance with some unique changes to make it applicable to the fairways. The first and more minor change is the outsole, which features larger traction spikes better suited for grass. The main change is the shoe’s plastic cage system, which has been reworked to say EASTSIDE across the lateral wall of the shoe. The entire silhouette comes in shades of blue, mixing Aluminum, University, and Blue Void hues.

EASTSIDE GOLF X NIKE AIR MAX PLUS “ALUMINUM” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest collaboration from Eastside Golf and Nike does not have a release date yet, but is still expected to release sometime in Fall 2025. The project features the Air max Plus as the adapted lifestyle shoe for this collection, dressed in a soft “Aluminum” blue colorway and adding a reworked cage system. Pairs will be available through both partners, but no pricing info is currently available.

CdG Homme Plus x Nike Air Rejuven8 Pack Releases This Week

0

UPDATE 9/16/25: CdG’s latest Nike project, the Air Rejuven8, releases this week on September 18th. Pairs will be avialable through DSM stores and online.

ORIGINAL STORY:

CdG has shared an early look at another upcoming project with Nike, once again reaching into the brand’s archives to reimagine a classic performance shoe. This time, the Air Rejuven8 is getting the special treatment, coming this Fall.

Comme des Garçon has grown into one of the most ambitious Nike collaborators over the last few years, often signaling fare ahead of time what archival Nike products are on the way. Recently, they helped resurrect models like the Air max Sunder and the Air Max TL 2.5 long before they reached wider, in-line releases, and this week the CdG team has unveiled their next project, a reimagining of the Air Rejuven8.

The Nike Air Rejuven8 made its debut at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and was engineered as a pre- and post-competition recovery sneaker. The simple, low-top trainer was characterized by its flexible TPU outer shell, which was molded in a diamond grid pattern for breathability and adaptability. Now, CdG has introduced a new version of this shell, which is being called Flymesh, a mesh material constructed solely fro FlyWire cables. As per usual, pairs will come in plain black & white colorways.

CDG HOMME X NIKE AIR REJUVEN8 RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest Nike retro being launched in collaboration with CdG Homme Plus, the Air Rejuven8, has not been officially announced yet, but is expected sometime in Fall 2025. The 2008 trainer with a netting upper will likely be available exclusively through CdG and their retailers like DSM, with an elevated price tag.

TOMO KOIZUMI Brings an Iridescent Finish to the Nike Air Superfly

0

Nike has announced a string of interesting special projects with a range of creative partners this week. One standout release comes from Japanese designer TOMO KOIZUMI, who lends his colorful aesthetic to the Air Superfly for a drop this weekend.

The Nike Air Superfly debuted in 2001 as a lightweight training and running shoe, part of Nike’s push to blend performance tech with sleek, futuristic aesthetics. Designed during the Y2K era, it featured a streamlined silhouette, visible Air cushioning, and minimal overlays that appealed to both athletes and lifestyle wearers. Its low profile and racing-inspired build reflected early 2000s trends toward speed and agility. Though it quietly faded from shelves after a short run, the Superfly gained cult status, making its 2025 return highly anticipated.

Nike has been quietly pushing new colors of the Superfly throughout the year, but this week they’ve announced the model’s first collaboration for its retro run. The Swoosh tapped Japanese designer & studio artist TOMO KOIZUMI for this release, through the lens of his eponymous label. Koizumi primarily designs dresses, using a vivid palette of colors for each piece, a principle repurposed for his Superfly release. The silhouette’s metallic overlay panels have been coated in an iridescent sheen for this project, bringing shades of blue, green, and purple to the sleek runner. The rest of the shoe comes in jet black, with colorful outsoles underneath.

In a first for the Air Superfly, Koizumi has removed the usual small Swoosh on the outer heel, replacing it with an enlarged velcro Swoosh in the center of the shoe. Three different styles of the Nike logo are attached to the inside of the box, giving you a bit of customization for this special pair. Two lacing options are also included, both featuring a metallic iridescent aglet at the ends.

TOMO KOIZUMI X NIKE AIR SUPERFLY RELEASE INFORMATION

The new project from Japanese designer & artist Tomo Koizumi and Nike has been scheduled to release this week, first on September 19th at DSM Ginza and select Japanese retailers. This will be followed by a global release on September 20th from both retailers and the SNKRS app. The iridescent style of the Air Superfly does not have pricing information available yet.

The Air Afrique x Nike Air Max RK61 Dress Shoe Releases in October

Nike has collaborated with a vast number of brands and partners, producing all kinds of unique releases. This week, the Swoosh unveiled a project with Parisian creative collective Air Afrique, debuting an Air Max RK61 dress sneaker.

Air Afrique, founded in 1961, was a pan-African airline jointly owned by a number of West African nations and partially by Air France. Headquartered in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, it symbolized post-independence unity and progress. The carrier expanded routes across Africa, Europe, and the U.S., becoming a cultural ambassador with its distinct green livery. However, the airline began to decline in the 1980s, and despite restructuring attempts in the 1990s, Air Afrique ceased operations in 2002. Now, the name has been repurposed by a Paris-based creative collective, honoring the legacy of Air Afrique through a “multidisciplinary platform dedicated to afro-diasporic art, conversations, and aesthetics”.

This week, Nike announced a new project with Air Afrique, one of their most interesting stories of the year so far. Teaming up with the creative outlet, the two have released a campaign surrounding a special sneaker release, the Air Max RK61. The shoe’s name comes from the original airlines’ flight code, RK, and the year of its founding, 1961. The shoe itself is a combination of elements from the Air Max Sunder combined with moccasins and dress shoes. The upper uses the zippered shroud of the Sunder, with a modified overlay adding a single swooping line around the shoe’s perimeter. The sole unit features a visible Air bubble in the heel, shank plate embedded under the midfoot. Colorways are tonal in either black or white, both featuring a zipper pull with the airline’s OG logo attached. Both pairs feature a patterned green insole, and come in flannel patterned boxes.

AIR AFRIQUE X NIKE AIR MAX RK61 RELEASE INFORMATION

The new project from Parisian label Air Afrique and Nike has been scheduled to release soon, on October 9th, 2025. Combining elements of the Air Max Sunder with a dress shoe, the Air Max RK61 will com in two colorways, Black and Coconut Milk, each with a special zipper puller and vivid green insoles and Air bags. Pairs will be available from the SNKRS app and select retailers. No pricing information is currently available.

Costco & Nike SB Apparently Have a Kirkland Signature Dunk Low on the Way

Now this is a weird one. This week, a new SB Dunk Low collaboration has crossed our feeds, but it’s a fairly unusual partner for the Nike sub brand. Teaming up with Costco’s Kirkland Signature, the dunk comes decked out in heather grey fleece.

Nike SB releases many pairs of sneakers each year, largely focused on their take on the Dunk Low. The SB team is particularly adept at storytelling in their special releases, rolling out excellent in-house styles as well as a huge range of collaborations. When you think of Nike SB collaborations, the first projects that come to mind are usually pairs designed in partnership with skaters, retailers, or pop culture icons. Definitely not big box retailers. The latest project to surface from the SB division is just that, a collab with Costco and their Kirkland Signature line of goods.

The Kirkland Signature version of the SB Dunk Low outfits the shoe in their finest textile, the signature heather grey fleece found in hoodies and sweatpants. The unique choice for a sneaker is perfect timing for its rumored holiday release, when a warm and cozy shoe is the perfect addition to a seasonal footwear lineup. The shoe packs plenty of details into its otherwise simple appearance. The Kirkland label appears on the outer heel of each shoe, while the tongue’s inner label is made to mimic Costco’s pricing signs. Insoles are printed with a full-length Kirkland logo, and the ‘signature’ red work mark appears on the Nike Air logos.

KIRKLAND SIGNATURE X NIKE SB DUNK LOW RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest leaked style of the SB Dunk Low from Nike and Costco will reportedly release to the public this year, during the holiday season. The model comes in the Kirkland Signature classic grey fleece, covering the entirety of the shoe in the heather textile, and complete with a Kirkland label on the heels. Pairs will likely be available through skate shops and SNKRS, but a release at Costco stores wouldn’t surprise us. They will cost $135.

Nike Celebrates the Heat’s Back-to-Back Trophies with the “Miami Twice” Lebron 23

Lebron James is gearing up for a monumental season in the NBA. Playing his 23rd season, the most ever, wearing #23, and wearing his 23rd signature sneaker. To celebrate, Nike is crafting some incredible pairs of the Lebron 23, like the “Miami Twice” edition, coming soon.

With so many historic moments lined up for Lebron James’ 23rd NBA season, Nike has gone all in on the King’s latest shoe, the Lebron 23. The silhouette packs a remarkable amount of their latest and greatest court-ready tech into one slim package. The model introduces a full-length ZoomX drop-in midsole for the first time in LeBron’s signature line, paired with a new Crown Containment System for stability. It also has a carbon-fiber shank beneath the midsole to help with torsional support and a lightweight engineered upper for comfort and breathability.

While all of that technology is great, the real draw for these releases is the storytelling behind each. Nike has stated that there will be 23 colorways total, each one inspired by a moment or story from Lebron’s career. This week, we have a close-up look at the “Miami Twice” style arriving in October. The pair celebrates his back-to-back championships with the Miami Heat in 2012 & 2013. The look takes the iconic “South Beach” color palette, and spins it in a more subtle, safer color blocking. The crown shaped lower half comes in a pearl-like white finish, with a dark Swoosh across the heels. The textile portion of the upper comes in that signature teal color, and features a palm tree jacquard print for an extra level of detail. The tongues are split between neon yellow and orange, and feature Bron’s signature in gold foil, attached to the tongue via gold rivets.

NIKE LEBRON 23 “MIAMI TWICE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest pair of the Nike Lebron 23 has been scheduled to release early next month, on October 9th, 2025. Celebrating the Heat’s back to back NBA championship wins, the pair remixes the iconic South Beach palette with a more subtle approach. Pairs of this special release will be available from Nike and their basketball retail partners for $210.

Nike is gearing up for a huge wave of Foamposite releases in 2025, rolling out some retro styles in addition to new colors. This week, word of a “Pine Green” retro has surfaced, currently set for the holiday season.

Nike’s Foamposite sneakers quickly became an icon of street sneaker culture after their debut in 1997. The molded plastic shoe has an inimitable style, with an aggressive stance and wavy lines for an entirely unique look that has not been replicated since. The Foam line has always been a heavy hitter too; the manufacturing process necessitates a high price tag, which is likely going up in 2025.

This week, we got word of another retro addition to their 2025 release slate, rolling out 2011’s “Pine Green” style for the first time since its debut. The pair features a shimmering dark green color for its molded outer layer, paired with black accents, and a hint of vibrant green for accents on the toes and tongues.

Nike has not set an official release date for another Foamposite Pro retro yet, but the “Pine Green” pair is expected to arrive sometime during the Fall 2025 season. Dressed in dark green and black, pairs will be available from Nike and select retailers for an updated $240.

The colorful releases from New York designer and artist Jae Tips and collaborative partner Saucony have continued in 2025, with their latest release, a pair of the Jazz 9, arriving back in March. Since then, there has been radio silence from the multi-hyphenate creative behind the popular releases, until this week. Today, Tips shared a new photo on his social media, sharing what appears to be TSA bins full of his travel gear, including a new style from Saucony.

The next release from Saucony & Jae Tips will feature the ProGrid Triumph 4, a retro runner that reappeared last year in collaborations with END. Minted NY, and soon, Westside Gunn. Tips’ take on the model, as usual, is quite colorful, and adds some floral details as well as his Savior branding on the medial sides. The bulk of the shoe comes in a vivid red mesh, adding its overlays in clear synthetic materials with accents in baby blue tones. The rear of the shoe features a lush green shade for the heel cafe and inner lining, with a neon yellow midsole sits underneath.
