The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance MT10T Sport Shoe is Available Now

0

Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance have been close partners since their debut release in 2020. This week, the two have expanded outside of their usual classic shoe styles to release a three-pack of the MT10T Sport Shoe, available now.

New York’s Aimé Leon Dore has been one of the most prolific New Balance collaborators of this decade. Founded by Teddy Santis, who now leads the footwear brand’s Made in USA creative direction, the brand has helped Nb debut a number of new and retro styles over the past few years. Typically, their projects remain in the scope of simple, iconic silhouettes, but recently they’ve begun to branch out a bit in the spirit of trying new things.

This week, ALD and NB have quietly dropped their latest project, which offers a slim and simple silhouette to go with ALD’s Summer 2025 apparel collection; the MT10T Sport Shoe. The silhouette is a bit of an anomaly in the New Balance archives, with a super slim design akin to that of a water shoe, but this boasts the technical capabilities to back it up. Inspired by a range of shoes including moccasins, ballet flats, loafers, and Mary Janes, the model features a nylon upper, Vibram lugged outsole, and toggle lacing. ALD’s colors include a neutral olive green pair, a bright neon yellow look, and a simple black pair with red and green accents.

Cecilie Bahnsen & Asics Reunite for a Floral GEL-Cumulus 16 Pack

0

Veteran fashion designer Cecilie Bahnsen is back for another round of Asics releases this season. Building on their floral GEL-Terrain MT pack from early this year, the GEL-Cumulus 16 gets the patterned treatment, releasing next month.

Cecilie Bahnsen is a fashion label founded by the designer of the same name, a graduate of London’s Royal College of Arts and a veteran of French couture houses. The eponymous label operates at the intersection of couture and ready-to-wear to create luxury clothing with a relaxed, timeless style. Each season’s clothing is designed by hand by Cecilie herself, and her unique approach has netted her some projects with Asics in recent years.

The latest project from Bahnsen and Asics continues their use of floral patterns applied to tech runners, this time with a new canvas. The model for this release is the GEL-Cumulus 16, a running shoe originally released in 2014. Elements of the shoe are still present in the brand’s catalog, like the GEL-NYC which borrows its sole unit from the 16. The new Cecilie Bahnsen pack applies another clear layer to the shoe’s upper with a pattern of leaves etches across it. The three colorways available include Ivory & black, Grey & Silver, and triple black.

Nike’s Special Edition “Panda” Dunk Low SE Releases in August

0

The Nike Panda Dunk has been the butt of plenty of jokes about sneaker culture and the Dunk renaissance over the last few years. This Summer, Nike is releasing a special-edition pair of the color to celebrate the shoe’s fortieth anniversary.

The Dunk has been a staple for Nike’s releases over the last five years, after they flooded the market with the iconic shoe back in 2020. One of their first releases that year was a simple black & white style that quickly became known as the Panda Dunk, becoming a seasonal release from the Swoosh with new pairs released globally every few months. Now, the brand is backing off on the iconic shoe, after celebrating its fortieth anniversary in 2025.

Nike has cooked up a new pair of the Dunk Low SE to celebrate the model’s forty year tenure in their catalog, and they are finally issuing a true panda-inspired pair for the occasion. The new look leans into the bear-inspired look, with flashy patent leather overlays and tongue tags, gradient white & black laces, and a panda logo on the inner tongues. The shoe’s overlay panels come in a washed look, almost appearing purple in some lighting, making this pair the truest form of the panda colorway.

NIKE DUNK LOW SE “PANDA” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s new special-edition release of the Dunk Low SE, celebrating forty years of the silhouette, is currently expected to release on August 1st, 2025. The new “Panda”-themed look will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers, with an expected price tag of just $125.

Drake’s Crafts a Limited-Edition Style of the New Balance Allerdale

0

New Balance introduced the Allerdale this year, a thick ‘walking shoe’ with a hefty $250 price tag. This season, the silhouette is getting its first collaboration, from the London-based menswear brand Drake’s.

Drake’s hails from East London, and was founded in 1977 by Michael Drake. Initially, the brand offered high-end men’s accessories, limited to scarves, shawls, and plaids, but soon expanded to include handmade ties and handkerchiefs. Today, Drake’s has expanded to be a one-stop shop for all things menswear, offering full outfits with an emphasis on artisan made goods, including soft tailoring from Italy and knitwear from Scotland.

This week, a new collaboration from Drake’s and New Balance has surfaced, marking the first special project on the Boston brand’s Allerdale model. Designed as a comfortable walking shoe, the Allerdale has so far been offered in a small selection of neutral colorways. Drake’s is taking their opportunity to expand the possibilities of the model, decking out the silhouette in a variety of materials. The base of the upper comes in a light brown pebbled leather, paired with a dark chocolate brown pebbled leather mudguard. The shoe’s midfoot panels come in olive green suede, framing a green cotton ripstop tongue. The final piece is a set of bright red laces.

Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE1 is Hitting the Gridiron in 2026

Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE1 sneaker is one of the best performance models of the last few years, and one of the coolest new sneakers from adidas in a while. Next year, the shoe is becoming a double threat with a new football cleat version.

Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards and adidas are still celebrating the massive success of their AE1 sneaker, the guard’s first signature model with the Three Stripes. Nike’s Clogposite Gets a Metallic “Dusty Cactus” Look

0

Late in 2024, Nike reissued the Clogposite, a simple slip-on version of their Flightposite silhouette from the 1990s. With the retro run in full swing, new colors like this “Dusty Cactus” brown pair have emerged, coming this Summer.

With Spring already here and Summer coming up around the corner, sneaker brands are pivoting away from their Fall/Winter colors and styles, rolling out more simple and comfortable sneakers for the sunnier months. Among Nike’s retro catalog if the Clogposite retro, which first touched down late last year. The mule-cut basketball shoe is dropping in a range of brighter new looks, like this “Dusty Cactus” pair soon.

The CDG Patterned Vans Authentic Returns Tomorrow

0

Back in 2019, streetwear was at its heights, and brands were in an all-out frenzy for collaboration. One of the hits of that year was the Comme des Garçon x Vans Authentic, and this week, the model returns for another round.

Vans has been an essential part of the sneaker world for years, and their simple, iconic silhouettes are often adopted by various brands as a blank canvas for special collaborations. The late 2010s was a period of logomania, with big, bold, eye-catching logos applied to nearly everything in street style, making it hard to miss who was wearing what, and what company made it. The CDG x Vans Authentic hit this nail on the head, covering the iconic shoe in their sharp-edged logo.

This week, CDG has announced their next wave of product, and among the releases scheduled for tomorrow is the return of their 2019 Vans Authentic project. The model takes a standard-issue Authentic silhouette in white, and applies their logo to the entirety of the canvas upper in black ink, with an extra logo splashed across the toes of each shoe. Small details like cream white laces and inner linings complete the look.

Featuring an allover print of of black CDG logos over a white base, pairs will be available exclusively through the French brand’s website. New Balance is gearing up to debut a new model this year, called the 2010. The silhouette calls back to performance shoes of that era, and our first look is at a dark brown and grey color scheme, coming soon.

New Balance’s rise to popularity over the last several years has been a welcome surprise, as their comfortable sneakers draw on over 100 years of design history. The Boston brand has revived a number of older models along the way, as well as introducing new styles that are built upon their decades of footwear knowledge. This week, another one of these retro-inspired designs has surfaced, coming this year.

First Look: LEGO x Nike Air Max Dn “Tour Yellow”

0

Lego and Nike announced their new partnership last Summer, and now we finally have a look at what they’ve been working on. This week, official images of the Air Max Dn in “Tour Yellow” have surfaced, coming soon.

Lego has been leaning into the footwear world for the last few years, initially breaking onto the scene through collaborations with adidas. Spanning a range of footwear styles, they’ve applied their signature studs to their collab releases, often including a few bricks for us to customize the shoes with. Last year, they announced a new deal with Nike, bringing us shoes, and apparently, Lego models of some Swoosh icons.

This week, the first release from Lego and Nike has emerged, featuring the Air Max Dn, a relatively new model that debuted for Air Max Day 2024. While the shoe remains largely untouched, the upper features the toy company’s signature studs across the upper, which will likely allow pieces to be added to each shoe. The entire model comes in a bright “Tour Yellow”, the signature color of yellow, with some small branding details on the Air bubbles, toes, and heels.
