A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 Low “White” Releases Next Week

0

A Ma Maniére just wrapped up their extensive “While You Were Sleeping” project with Nike, and already we have an early look at their next release. This time, they are celebrating their ten-year anniversary with a special Air Force 1 Low.

James Whitner founded A Ma Maniére, adding another upscale sneaker and apparel boutique under his Whitaker Group banner. The store has skyrocketed to prominence in the last decade, and is a part of adidas’ Consortium team as well as having a close relationship with Nike and Jordan Brand. The latter has brought us a ton of immensely popular releases in recent years, which started off with their excellent Air Jordan 3 in 2021.

This year, AMM has been celebrating the tenth anniversary of their opening, largely through the “While You Were Sleeping” project with Nike. Now, a new pair of the Air Force 1 Low from that series has surfaced, seemingly as an Anniversary edition by its A10 logo on the packaging. This pair decks out the shoe in all black leather, with a striking white outline for the Swoosh and the AMM branding on the sole. Icy blue outsoles and reworked perforations on the toes complete the look.

The Nike Air Max Sunder Gets a Subtle Sunset Gradient in “Bright Crimson”

The Air Max Sunder is in full swing this year, after Nike revived the 1999 model late last year. Tons of new styles for the runner have already hit shelves, with more like this “Bright Crimson” pair on the way soon.

Nike’s Alpha Project line turned twenty-five years old in 2024, and to celebrate, the brand revived some fan-favorite styles for their first-ever retro releases. The Air Max Craze, a slingback, sandal-style running shoe is the latest model, which was preceded by Air Max heads’ holy grail; the Air Max Sunder. The shoe’s sleek design and aggressive shape has been tucked away in the Swoosh archives for over two decades, and is finally available again in a wide range of colors.

This week, a string of new colors for the Sunder have surfaced, lined up for the rest of the year. Neutral shades like the “Olive Flak” pair will be plentiful, as well as vivid styles like this “Bright Crimson” look, which echoes the safety orange pair from early this year. The new loo features a very subtle gradient color scheme, mimicking a sunset with its transition fro orange at the toes to the bright crimson shade at the heels. The gradient is framed by a black mudguard with white perforation panels, and a white midsole to complete the look.

NIKE AIR MAX SUNDER “BRIGHT CRIMSON” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest gradient style of the Air Max Sunder retro does not have a release date yet, but is currently expected to release sometime in Summer 2025. Mixing “Bright Crimson” with ceramic orange for a sunset-inspired look, pairs will be available from both Nike’s SNKRS app and select retailers with a price tag of $180.

Nike Air Max Sunder in “Olive Flak” Coming Soon

Nike’s releases of the Air Max Sunder retro are ramping up after their initial debut last year. This week, we have our first look at a new pair expected this Summer, which pits the shoe in a high contrast “Olive Flak” palette.

The Swoosh has been on a roll with their retro Air Max releases as of late, with the latest Alpha Project shoe, the Craze, hitting shelves this Spring. The other big release of the last year was the return of the Air Max Sunder, another turn-of-the-century Alpha model with a similar zippered shroud and neoprene upper. The Sunder has been a long-awaited retro for many Air Max heads, and Nike is giving us tons of options for the iconic model.

This week, another color scheme of the Air Max Sunder has surfaced, joining Nike’s official release calendar soon. The new look comes mainly in an “Olive Flak” shade, perhaps a more appropriate release for Fall. The look features the brownish-green shade across the neoprene shroud of the shoe, with its signature mudguard in a sheet white tone. The perforated TPU pieces have a reflective 3M finish, while gum soles complete the look.

NIKE AIR MAX SUNDER “OLIVE FLAK” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s upcoming “Olive FLak” style of the Air Max Sunder retro does not have a release date yet, but is currently expected to release sometime in Summer 2025. The brownish-green shade paired with white will be available from both Nike’s SNKRS app and select retailers with a price tag of $180.

The Original A Ma Maniere x Nike Air Max 95 Colorway Releases Next Week

Early last year, James Whitner gave us our first look at an A Ma Maniere x Nike Air Max 95 release. That first color scheme was thought to be reworked into a different style, but now the “Diffused Taupe” look is releasing next week.

In early 2024, James Whitner appeared at a number of Paris Fashion Week events across the city, revealing a number of new and upcoming releases from his boutique, A Ma Maniere, and Nike. One of our personal highlights was a pair of the Air Max 95, which features a gradient color scheme across the upper in a range of premium leathers and textiles, mounted on top of an off-white midsole. That pair mysteriously disappeared, and was believed to be altered to the “Violet Ore” style that finally arrived in December. Until now.

This week, A Ma Maniere and their retail partners in the Whitaker Group all opened up raffles for the latest batch of AMM x Nike releases. Featuring the Air Force 1 we’ve been tracking for a few months now, the raffle pages also included the “Diffused Taupe” Air Max 95 that we first saw almost 18 months ago. Dressed in shades of brown and purple and constructed from beautiful leathers, the pair we have been waiting for is finally releasing next week.

A MA MANIERE X NIKE AIR MAX 95 “DIFFUSED TAUPE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest pair of Nike’s Air Max 95 by A Ma Maniere releases next week, on June 27th, 2025. Raffles are now open from a selection of Whitaker Group retailers, which are accepting submissions for the “Diffused Taupe” color scheme until Monday, and the online/in-store release will happen on the 27th. Pairs will come with a price tag of $190.

The Air Jordan 1 Low MM V3 Gets a “Washed Coral” Look

Jordan Brand is not quite done with their Air Jordan 1 Low MM series, returning to the special pairs for a new V3 edition this year. With a new look inspired by tech runners, a fresh pair in “Washed Coral” has emerged today.

Last year, Jordan Brand introduced the Method of Make, or MM, version of the Air Jordan 1 Low. The new style was created to highlight different manufacturing methods and various materials, while providing a slightly elevated take on the iconic shoe. The first versions included some woven details along the toes and heels along with a small metal Swoosh, before evolving into the all-satin V2 format that released in the latter half of 2024. Now, JB is getting ready to introduce the MM V3.

The newest iteration of the AJ1 MM combines the iconic basketball shoe with details inspired by retro tech runners. These running shoes, largely from the early 2000s but once again popular in 2025, are characterized by a heavy use of overlay panels with odd cutouts, and printed elements on top for more color blocking. The latest pair of the MM V3 to appear pits the shoes in a new “Washed Coral” makeup, featuring a grid mesh base layer in the soft pink tone, and framed by white leather overlays. More Coral pink accents are added on top of the white pieces, while an iridescent Swoosh completes the look.

AIR JORDAN 1 LOW MM V3 “WASHED CORAL” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next iteration of Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 1 Low MM, now categorized as V3, has not been officially announced yet, but is tentatively expected to debut sometime in Summer 2025. The tech runner-inspired silhouette, seen here in white and shades of pink, will be available from both Nike and select retailers, and is expected to come with a price tag of $135.

Nike’s GT Future Surfaces in a “Varsity Red” Finish

0

The NBA All-Star Weekend in February was one of the best sneaker preview events in recent years. During the festivities, Nike unveiled a new GT Future basketball shoe, which has surfaced in a striking “Varsity Red” style this week.

After the All-Star Weekend festivities in San Francisco ended in February, we have been anxiously awaiting more information regarding a new Nike Basketball silhouette; the GT Future. The model made its debut at several events over the three day weekend, showcased on the feet of Wale as a lifestyle shoe, and on the court by several Nike athletes. The shoe pays homage to the Foamposite and other molded, hard shell sneakers of that era, but brings a wild new look to the Swoosh’s performance line.

Several colorways of the GT Future have already been shared by the brand, mostly through Frank Cooke, the legendary Nike and Jordan designer. This week, he has graced us with another early look at an upcoming release of the model, which celebrates the 2001 Air Hyperflight basketball shoe. The new look covers the Future’s glossy upper in a striking “Varsity Red” shade, paired with a flat black accent for the shoe’s interior, outsoles, and Swooshes.

NIKE GT FUTURE “VARSITY RED” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest colorway of Nike Basketball’s upcoming GT Future does not have a release date yet, though the model is expected to make its debut late in 2025. Dressed in a bold “Varsity Red” color scheme to mimic a 2001 Hyperflight release, pairs will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers for $190.

Nike Joins the Loafer Wave with the Air Max Phenomena

Loafers have burrowed their way into the popular footwear zeitgeist over the last year, and sneaker brands are leaping onto the trend with modified pairs of their iconic shoes. This year, Nike will release the Air Max Phenomena as their entry in the loafer game.

Footwear is a very trendy medium of fashion, with different styles coming and going every few years. A decade ago, knit sneakers were everywhere, and adidas’ plush Boost cushioning infiltrated nearly every brand in the sneaker game. In 2020, when we needed more casual shoes, injection foam molded slippers and slides became the hot new thing. This year, as loafers have become more popular in everyday style, sneaker brands are adapting their footwear to deliver a more upscale look.

This week, Nike’s latest entry in the loafer/sneaker hybrid world has emerged, dubbed the Air Max Phenomena. Built on the Air midsole from the Sunder, a 1999 model that retroed for the first time last year, the shoe’s chunky sole supports a new loafer-inspired upper. Seen here in a simple black & grey color scheme, the upper is constructed from a ripple leather, with a suede mudguard wrapping around the perimeter. Oversized pull tabs appear on the heels, while a zebra print insole and metallic silver Swoosh charms complete the look.

NIKE AIR MAX PHENOMENA RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s new loafer-style sneaker, the Air Max Phemomena, has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to land on shelves later this year. Dressed in black and grey with a silver metallic Swoosh, pairs will likely be available from Nike and select retailers. No pricing for this new model has been announced yet.

“Midnight Navy” Lands on the Nike Air Max Craze for Summer 2025

Nike’s Air Max Craze finally landed last month, after the brand first teased the retro release late in 2024. New colorways of the slingback sneaker have continued to pop up, like this “Midnight Navy” pair coming this Summer.

The Air Max Craze by Nike originally released in 1999, under the banner of the Alpha Project. This series was a wide range of footwear options that each took a radical new approach to design in the performance running field, using new materials and concepts, some of which are still in use today. The Air Presto with its t-shirt inspired sizing and the Air Max Sunder were both fellow Alpha Project members.

The Air Max Craze took a somewhat minimal approach to its design, featuring a “slingback” heel counter that eliminated lots of excess materials and padding from the rear of the shoe. This made them extremely light, and very breathable for hot weather runs. Now, the Craze is back on shelves for the first time ever since its introduction nearly 30 years ago, and Nike has some new colorways coming soon. Today we have an early look at a “Midnight Navy” style, which pits the neoprene upper in a dark blue hue, with grey and white accents to complete the look.

NIKE AIR MAX CRAZE “MIDNIGHT NAVY” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s next colorway of the Air Max Craze does not have an official release date yet, but pairs are expected to start dropping in Summer 2025. Seen here in a dark “Midnight Navy” blue shade with grey and white, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $170.

South2 West8 x Reebok Instapump Fury Mule Coming Soon

0

Japanese outdoor brand South2 West8 has quietly amassed some impressive collaborations in recent years, including releases with Kith and Supreme. This season, they have reunited with Reebok to turn the Instapump Fury into a snow boot-inspired mule silhouette.

South2 West8 is a somewhat unlikely brand to reach the forefront of hyped streetwear, given the brand’s basis in fishing, specifically, the traditional Japanese method of fly fishing called Tenkara. Founded in 2003, the brand recently made its way to the United States through the Nepenthes retail store, and has entered the world of beloved Japanese streetwear in recent years. In that time, S2W8 has had collaborations with Supreme, Kith, On Running, and Reebok, the latter of which they are reuniting with this season.

The latest project from South2 West8 and Reebok returns to the outdoors for a different kind of footwear. Their previous project, featuring the Zig Kinetica trail shoe, added a unique camo pattern to the silhouette’s upper. This time, they are reworking the classic Instapump Fury into a snow boot-inspired Mule sneaker. The shoe’s upper features a quilted puffer textile, which is lined with super soft PrimaLoft down. Despite the removal of the shoe’s heel section, the famous Pump tech is still present at the tongue for an adjustable fit. Two colorways are coming, one in green & black and the other in a triple black build with small hints of green branding.

SOUTH2 WEST 8 X REEBOK INSTAPUMP FURY MULE RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest project from Japan’s South2 West 8 and Reebok has not been officially given a release date yet, but has already started to pop up overseas, with a US release expected this Summer. Featuring two colorways, one in green & black and the other in all black, the Instapump Fury Mule will be available from both partners as well as select retailers.

First Look at This Year’s Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” Retro

In celebration of the Air Jordan line’s 40th anniversary, Jordan Brand is bringing back one of its most coveted colorways, the Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat.” Originally released in 2006 and re-released in 2020, this all-black edition has become a staple in sneaker culture, known for its sleek design and timeless appeal.

The Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” features a monochromatic black suede upper, complemented by matching black netting and midsoles. Inspired by Michael Jordan’s nickname “Black Cat,” the sneaker embodies a stealthy, powerful aesthetic that echoes his quick and agile movements on the court. The minimalist design allows the Air Jordan 4 silhouette to shine, making it a versatile option for both casual and athletic wear.

For its 2025 retro release, the “Black Cat” will stay true to its original form while incorporating an updated shape to closely resemble the 1989 version of the Air Jordan 4. Premium materials and meticulous attention to detail will ensure that this iteration lives up to its legendary status. The iconic Jumpman logo will once again grace the tongue and heel, further cementing the “Black Cat” as one of the most memorable releases in the Air Jordan lineup.

RELEASE INFO

The Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” releases in the Fall/Winter 2025. The sneaker will be available at select Jordan Brand retailers, both in-store and online, as well as via Nike.com. Priced at $215 USD, this highly anticipated drop is expected to sell out quickly. JJJJound Teases an Asics GEL-Quantum 360 Release

0
JJJJound Asics GEL-Quantum 360

This week, Montreal brand JJJJound has begun teasing their next release with Japanese footwear brand Asics. In addition to a new GEL-Kayano 14 color, the brand has also shared an early look at their GEL-Quantum 360.

Canadian brand JJJJound first teamed up with Asics back in 2022, helping to hype of the (then) recent retro of the GEL-Kayano 14 runner. Their penchant for elevated basics translated quite well to the Asics aesthetic, and their simple two colorways were some of the hardest pairs to get that year, still fetching high resale prices in the aftermarket. Yesterday, the brand shared a teaser image of their next release, a new style of the GK-14, and today they’ve teased something else entirely new.

JJJJound’s projects in the sneaker space have always reflected their simple approach to design. Every release features simple color blocking in neutral tones, never changing the stock model at its core. The first look they’ve shared today seems to abandon that principle entirely. Posted to Instagram, they shared an early look at a new style of the GEL-Quantum 360. This pair appears to be something of their own creation, though it could be a new update from Asics coming soon in in-line styles. The shoe features a knit upper with minimal paneling, a midsole from the GEL-Quantum 360 Knit 2, and embroidered patterns on the sides to produce a wave-like look.

JJJJOUND X ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 RELEASE INFORMATION

JJJJound has not yet announced the next release in their Asics partnership, but the project is slated to arrive sometime in Summer 2025. Today, the Montreal brand has teased the GEL-Quantum 360 in a new interpretation, a first for the usually simple brand. No pricing information for the new shoe is available yet.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “No Swoosh” Returns in Summer 2025

Jordan Brand is bringing back another classic this year, though not exactly one of the iconic shoes you’d expect. The “No Swoosh” edition of the Air Jordan 1 Low has surfaced in retailer images this week, coming soon.

Back in 2016, Air Jordan 1 releases were still few and far between, as Nike kept the iconic shoe close to their chest. Releases often experimented with new takes on the classic silhouette, like the “No Swoosh” edition of the Air Jordan 1 Low. True to its name, the model completely removed the Nike branding from the silhouette’s sidewalls, leaving only tonal branding on the tongues and heels of the silhouette.

This week, the surprise fan-favorite “No Swoosh” model has started to appear on various retailer’s release calendars, with a drop slated for Summer 2025. The shoe appears to be an exact rerelease of the original 2016 pair, featuring the same all-black pebbled leather upper and a sail white midsole tucked underneath.

AIR JORDAN 1 LOW “NO SWOOSH” RELEASE INFORMATION

The rerelease of the Air Jordan 1 Low “No Swoosh” has not been officially announced yet, but is currently speculated to release sometime in July 2025. Featuring the same Swoosh-less all black pebbled leather design as the original, pairs will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers for a cool $150.
