CLOT Introduces Patchwork Textiles to Their Next adidas Superstar

Edison Chen’s output with adidas has been prolific since their debut release in 2023. This week, we have our first look at their next release, a special “Patchwork” edition of the iconic Superstar.

CLOT’s famous partnership with Nike came to an end in 2023, giving rise to a new team-up between the Edison Chen brand and adidas. The two announced their new collaborative effort early in the year, before debuting their formal edition of the Superstar during the holiday ’23 season. Since then, their releases have been nearly nonstop, arriving at a rapid pace. In 2025, the two have released nearly one project every month, a nearly unfathomable output of work.

This week, we have our first look at yet another release from CLOT and adidas. This drop will once again focus on the Superstar, moving away from the Summer-ready mesh pairs that landed early this year. Instead, this Superstar returns to a more formal-wear-inspired styling. The upper is constructed from a patchwork of different textiles, some of which are common in mens’ suiting. The rear of the shoes features a brown houndstooth pattern, with more situated at the toe of the shoe. The toebox itself is made from a dark brown corduroy, while wheat-colored suedes make up the lacing system. The Three Stripes come in an tan shade of unidentified material, adding a pattern for another layer of texture. Finally, the navy blue leather accents and a jagged outsole complete the look.

CLOT X ADIDAS SUPERSTAR “PATCHWORK” RELEASE INFORMATION

Dressing the Superstar in a patchwork of upscale materials, pairs will be available through both partners as well as select retailers. No pricing information is available yet.

Jordan’s New Trunner O/S Model Releases in “Cave Stone” Soon

0

The Jordan Trunner is making a comeback this year. Initially teased during All-Star Weekend, the shoe’s original LX version is set to hit shelves soon. Additionally, they are launching an updated version of the model, the Trunner O/S, coming soon.

Jordan Brand has been quietly prepping for the return of their Trunner silhouette this year, teasing new styles of the classic LX version at All-Star Weekend. However, around the same time in February, new leaks gave us an early look at a modernized version of the fan-favorite hybrid sneaker, dubbed the Trunner OS. Since then, information regarding the new silhouette has been scarce, until a range of colorways appeared in official images today.

The latest addition to Jordan’s lineup of Trunner O/S styles is one of our favorites so far. Dressed in “Cave Stone”, the smooth brown shade has been a favorite of Nike’s this year, adorning pairs of the Air Jordan 4, ACG Phassad, and Dunk Low. The Trunner style adopts the colorway in a tonal build, using the brown shade across its mesh, suede, and plastic components. Each piece takes the color a little differently, creating a rich, textured look for the new runner.

Advisory Board Crystals has been slowly pulling back the curtain on their Fantastic Four project this week. Today, they unveiled the outer shell of the footwear element, four PUMA-branded box sleeves hiding a blind box sneaker inside.

The Fantastic Four movie from Marvel Studios finally lands in theaters this week. Fans of the MCU have been waiting for this one for a long time, as other adaptations of Marvel’s First Family have fallen short of expectations. While the rollout of the movie has been everywhere, licensed collaborations have been limited so far. Luckily, Advisory Board Crystals is here to save the day on the sneaker front. Over the last few days, the brand has been slowly teasing their F4 collection, which includes special-edition hats, hoodies, and the pièce de résistance: a blind box sneaker collection with PUMA.

Abc. is still in the process of unveiling their Fantastic Four collection, so we can’t say what PUMA model or models will be present in this release. However, we have some information direct from the source in regards to how this release will work. The double-blind feature means there will be two layers of blind packaging to unveil the shoe’s inside. All four members of the F4 plus Doctor Doom, Galactus, and the Silver Surfer will have their own sneaker, each varying in rarity. Galactus will be the most limited. The shoe boxes, seen below, will come in one of four special sleeves, which will require you to break a blister seal to figure out which character you received.

The collection will also include some accessories and apparel. So far, Abc. has unveiled a a baby blue cap with their logo alongside the Fantastic Four’s logo and wordmark. Additionally, they’ve shared a close-up look at a special knit hoodie. The zip-up hoodie features artwork of the two Silver Surfers, Earth-616’s original surfer, Norrin Radd, alongside his wife, Shalla-Bal, an alternate version originalyl from a parallel reality.

Stay tuned for more information on the collection as it emerges.

Nike’s Latest All-White Air Force 1 is Infected With Houseflies

Nike has pulled from a wide variety of sources for inspiration in sneaker design and special colorways. This season, they have a weird one line up. Check out the “Houseflies” edition of the Air Force 1 Low, coming soon.

Nike has released plenty of weird and wacky sneakers over the years, usually in eccentric colors and styles. Their penchant for taking inspiration from the obscure lives on and a forthcoming release of the Air Force 1 continues that tradition later this year. It is currently unclear what the exact story behind this release is, but the unquestionable attention to detail is certainly a strong statement from the Swoosh.

The pair in question is a “Houseflies” edition of the Air Force 1 Low. The new look begins with a triple white base shoe, one of the model’s most iconic looks. Across the upper, small, photorealistic depictions of houseflies have been embroidered on each panel. The decision to embroider these details instead of printing them is an interesting one, save for the flies on the soles. The look is completed with a modified lace dubrae, adding a cast metal housefly to the toes.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW “HOUSEFLIES” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest special release of their all-white Air Force 1 Low has not been announced yet but is expected Fall 2025. The look comes dressed in the classic triple white palette with an icy sole and embroidered houseflies. Pairs will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers for $130.

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Voltage” Colorway Returns for the First Time in 2026

Nike Air Foamposite Pro Voltage HF0794-002

Nike has rolled out a ton of colors from their Foamposite family this year, which kicked off with the “Galaxy” retro in March. This week, a new leak suggests that the OG “Voltage” colorway will return for the first time ever in 2026.

Nike’s Foamposite sneakers quickly became an icon of street sneaker culture after their debut in 1997. The molded plastic shoe has an inimitable style, with an aggressive stance and wavy lines for an entirely unique look that has not been replicated since. This year Nike has dressed up the Foamposite in a wide range of both new and old colorways, with even more on tap for next year.

The latest leak regarding an upcoming Foamposite release is a special one. Originally part of the shoe’s debut 1997 run, the Foamposite Pro’s “Voltage” colorway will make its way back to shelves for the first time since the ’90s. This look pits the silhouette in a blacked out foam shell with dark grey soles, and adds the namesake voltage yellow accent to the Swooshes and tongue bands. While photos of the new pair are not available yet, check out the original pair from ’97 below.

NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO “VOLTAGE” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s Air Max Plus has been a staple of the AM lineup since its anniversary celebration in 2023. This year, the Swoosh is reviving the silhouettes VII variant model for its twentieth anniversary. This “Dusk” style arrives in Fall 2025.

However, it did add a new look for the upper, removing the plastic cage system for a series of dots that resemble water droplets, adding motion by making them appear as if they’re dripping from the toe cap. This week we have official images of a new “Dusk” color scheme, one of the AM Plus’ debut releases. The look starts with an orange toe, transitioning to pink and then purple at the heels. Neon green Swooshes and Air bags add another color to the palette.
