FIRST LOOK: SoleFly x Air Jordan 3 Releasing Holiday 2025

Sneaker culture thrives on collaborations that seamlessly blend heritage with contemporary storytelling. The upcoming SoleFly x Air Jordan 3, set to release during the Holiday 2025 season, embodies this ethos, uniting Miami-based boutique SoleFly with Jordan Brand’s timeless craftsmanship. This collaboration marks the boutique’s second time working on the Air Jordan 3, but unlike its previous 2014 “Lotto” Friends & Family edition, this iteration will be available at retail for the first time.

A Tribute to Miami’s Sneaker Legacy

SoleFly has long been recognized for weaving Miami’s vibrant culture into its sneaker designs. From the Air Jordan 12 “Cafecito”, inspired by the city’s Cuban coffee culture, to the 2014 Air Jordan 3 that paid homage to Florida lottery ticket colors, SoleFly has consistently delivered footwear that tells a story. The 2025 Air Jordan 3 follows this tradition, though its exact inspiration remains under wraps. However, if history is any indicator, expect a sneaker that embodies the essence of Miami’s rich aesthetic and bold identity.

A Refined Yet Bold Colorway

The SoleFly x Air Jordan 3 “Sail/Gorge Green” offers a perfect balance of elegance and streetwear appeal. The soft “Sail” upper lends a clean and sophisticated look, making it a versatile choice for sneaker enthusiasts. This muted base is contrasted by Gorge Green accents, outlining the midsole and collar, adding a layer of depth and vibrancy. Complemented by Bright Mandarin detailing, the color scheme is both subtle and striking, catering to those who appreciate understated yet eye-catching designs.

In addition to its stunning aesthetic, the sneaker retains classic Air Jordan 3 elements, including textured overlays, Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel, and premium materials that showcase Nike’s meticulous craftsmanship. This attention to detail ensures the sneaker not only looks great but also delivers superior comfort and durability.

Where, When, and How Much?

The SoleFly x Air Jordan 3 is slated for a Holiday 2025 release, meaning it will hit shelves between October and December 2025. The sneaker will be available at SoleFly’s in-store and online locations, Nike.com, and potentially select boutiques. The retail price is $225. With SoleFly’s reputation for crafting culturally rich collaborations and Jordan Brand’s legacy of sneaker excellence, this release is poised to be one of the most anticipated drops of the year.

AVAILABLE NOW: adidas’ “Triple White” UltraBoost 1.0 Returns for the Shoe’s 10th Anniversary

2025 marks ten years of the adidas UltraBoost. the brand has kept the anniversary celebration fairly low-key, but this week the shoe’s 1.0 “Triple White” colorway has surfaced with some new materials, coming soon for their Fall lineup.

Back in 2015, adidas exploded onto the modern sneaker landscape with their Boost-equipped lineup of sneakers. This was the same year the brand would release the first signature shoes for Kanye West, kicking off a new era of Three Stripes dominance in the world of footwear. Prior to Kanye’s shoes hitting the public, the artist was spotted wearing a pair of the PureBoost, which were mistakenly identified as the UltraBoost 1.0 in Triple White, and the rest is history.

In 2015, adidas released a series of collaborations featuring the immensely popular UltraBoost, with special pairs designed by their range of retail partners, and some internal collaborators as well. James Carnes and Dirk Schönberger, two creative directors within the adi family, lent their taste to an upscale take on the Triple White 1.0 silhouette. This year, for the shoe’s tenth anniversary, they’ve done it again.

The new J&D Collective version of the UltraBoost 1.0 brings some fresh details to the familiar icon. The original Primeknit pattern and material returns for the bulk of the upper, though the mesh around the heel has been swapped for a softer, more fine textile. The original flat leather heel cage has been replaced with a textured version, which features a snakeskin or scale-like pattern. Reflective accents for the stripes and eyelets have been added, and gold foil UltraBoost branding completes the look.

Nike Announces the Return of the Foamposite Pro “Pearl” This Fall

Nike held another SNKRS Showcase livestream today, this time highlighting products from their Basketball line, both new and retro. Among the upcoming styles was a re-release of the “Pearl” Foamposite Pro, coming this Fall.

Nike’s Foamposite line has seen a lot of attention from the brand over the last year. The shoe’s iconic “Galaxy” edition was the focus of this year’s All-Star Weekend festivities, along with the introduction of the GT Future, a new model in the expansive Foam family. Nike still has plenty of re-releases slated for the rest of the year, and this week’s SNKRS Showcase gave us an early look at a fan-favorite color scheme, making its first appearance in ten years.

The “Pearl” edition of the Foamposite Pro was last seen in 2015, but previously saw retro releases in 2002, 2009, and 2010. The simple black and white look with red accents was among the shoe’s original color schemes in 1997, and is known for combining the Foam’s striking design with a simple, neutral color palette. Now, Nike is readying the iconic look for another re-release, slated to arrive this Fall. The new pair recreates the original to a T, with a crisp white upper, glossy black Swooshes, and just a hint of red.

Yesterday Nike hosted their latest SNKRS Showcase livestream, this time previewing a wide range of upcoming releases from their Basketball division. Among the styles shown was our first look at the KD4 “Longhorns” retro, coming holiday 2025.

Nike’s signature sneaker line for Kevin Durant first launched in 2008, kicking off a franchise that is still going strong to this day, now on its eighteenth iteration. One of the most beloved styles from the line is the KD4, which began dropping in retro formats back in 2018, for KD’s tenth anniversary with Nike. Since then, the Swoosh has regularly reissued select styles of the KD4 for special occasions. This week’s SNKRS Showcase livestream, focused on basketball, unveiled a ton of upcoming KD releases, including a retro of a fan-favorite 4 colorway.

Kevin Durant played college ball for the University of Texas Longhorns, and has used his signature sneaker line with Nike to release special pairs honoring the school and their iconic shade of orange. During the livestream special yesterday, host Brandon Jenkins showed off our first look at the “Longhorns” edition KD4 retro, coming later this year. Originally released in 2012, the 2025 version recreates the original’s near-tonal orange build, down to the glossy finish and oversized strap. White accents make up the Nike branding and midsoles.

Montreal skate brand Dime is hosting their annual Glory Challenge with Vans this weekend. To celebrate the occasion, the two have created the new Era Stub skate shoe, which releases alongside the event.

Dime has has impressed us over the last few years with a wide range of collaborations, bringing brands like Asics into their world of skateboarding. They’ve teamed up with adidas, New Balance, Reebok, and Vans as well, all in the last five years. This week, the shop is hosting their annual Glory Challenge, taking over their city’s IGA Stadium for the occasion. The event is described as: “50 handpicked skateboarders will unite in Montreal to confront a series of physically and psychologically demanding challenges.”

Alongside the event, Dime has teamed up with Vans for a new collaborative project, reworking the classic Era with some new details and skate-ready features. Dubbed the Era Stub, the most noticeable change is the addition of extra eyelets down the front of the shoe, shortening the toe box for a more classic sneaker build. Two colorways have been made for this project, a crisp white pair in canvas and suede, and Timberland-inspired look in light brown leather. This second look features the same laces as your typical Timbs boots, and metal rivet eyelets to complete the look.

No, This is Patrick (Star’s Official adidas Superstar Collaboration)

Spongebob Squarepants and friends have found a new brand for sneaker collaborations this year in adidas. This week, we have our first official look at the project, featuring a special-edition colorway of the Superstar inspired by Patrick Star.

Spongebob Squarepants is no stranger to brand collaborations. The children’s TV icon has appeared across a huge range of products over its twenty-six year run. With the huge rise in popularity of sneakers over the last decade, plenty of official Spongebob shoes have hit the market (Our favorite remains the meme-ified knock off Jordan Dub Zeros. You know the one.) Last year, Mr. Squarepants and Patrick appeared on a set of Crocs Clogs, and before that, they had an entire collection of bob-themed Nike Kyrie 5s. Now, adidas has teamed up with the Nickelodeon show for a new collection.

The collaboration between adidas and Spongebob Squarepants has emerged in the first official imagery today, showing off a pair of Superstars in a Patrick Star colorway. The shoe features a soft pink suede across the upper, adding black stripes with more pink for the trim. The classic Superstar tongue logo now features Patrick’s face, a la the Stan Smith. Co-branded insoles sit inside both shoes, while the iconic Bikini Bottom backdrop is used for the shoe’s blue outsoles. Finally, a second [pair of laces using Pat Star’s green and purple patterned shorts completes this special release.

ADIDAS SUPERSTAR “PATRICK STAR” RELEASE INFORMATION

The project will include multiple pieces, including this “Patrick Star” edition of the classic Superstar, dressed in pink and featuring laces patterned with Pat’s shorts.
