Nike Brings Clear Panels to a “Pink Rise” Dunk Low

Nike is bringing back clear paneled sneakers to their arsenal this season, after some new experiments over the last decade. This week, the Dunk Low has joined the Fall lineup, dressed in a “Pink Rise” color scheme for the occasion.

Clear panels on sneakers are not exactly a new concept for Nike. Back in 2006, the Swoosh released two iconic projects featuring completely clear paneling, CLOT’s “Kiss of Death” Air Max 1, and the “Invisible Woman” Air Force 1. Both sneakers added a rigid clear plastic panel to the toes, and both suffer from the issue of sweaty feet fogging up the material. Since then, Nike has conducted other experiments with see-through models, like the Element 87’s transparent panels. Now, a new wave of clear shoes are on the way.

This Summer, the Air Force 1 surfaced in a 2.0 version of the iconic “Invisible Woman” look, with updated color blocking that matches Vanessa Kirby’s costume in the new Fantastic Four movie. Now, a Dunk Low has emerged with similar clear panels. Both the clear sections of these shoes feature a grid-like texture across them, meaning Nike has likely found a new, more viable see-through textile for their sneakers. The Dunk pair comes in a “Pink Rise” color scheme, though most of the pink color comes from the interior of the shoe. The rest is dressed in black tumbled leather, adding pink branding and an icy outsole to complete the look.

NIKE DUNK LOW “PINK RISE” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest silhouette to don their transparent underlay panels is the Dunk Low. Currently, pairs of the “Pink Rise” colorway are set to release from European retailer AsphaltGold on September 5th, 2025, though no US release date has been announced yet. The rest of the shoe is dressed in black with an icy outsole, and will come with a $130 price tag.

Nobu founder Nobu Matsuhisa keeps growing his sushi restaurant brand. In 2021, he teamed up with Chris Stamp to expand the restuarant business beyond its New York and Los Angeles locations, through apparel. They started Sushi Club, a clothing label catering to their customers by producing a range of hoodies, t-shirts, hats, and more with branding for a huge range of global cities. Then, in 2023, they netted a Nike collaboration, providing elevated pairs of the Air Force 1 to the restaurant’s friends & family.

The first edition of the Sushi Club x Nike Air Force 1 arrived in early 2023, dressed in a clean white colorway with silver foil branding. The pairs were exclusive to F&F and came with a $195 price tag. In 2024, they stepped it up a notch, offering another white AF1 with subtle Sushi branding, this time for $275. This week, a 3.0 version of the Sushi Club Air Force 1 has surfaced, and this pair is expected to be a public release, with an approachable $150 price tag. The shoes once again sport a white leather upper, switching the Sushi Club logo from the outer heel to the outer toe. The chopstick lace jewel remains, and the Swooshes have been changed to a neutral grey suede.

Streetwear brand BAPE has been an essential piece of both Japanese and American fashion culture since the brand launched in 1993. Ten years later, A Bathing Ape would team up with adidas for the first time, launching a historic partnership in the world of sneakers that continues on over twenty years later. Their main focus with adidas releases is typically the Three Stripes’ icons, terrace trainers like the Gazelle or Samba or the Superstar. This week, we have an early look at their latest project with the Samba, coming soon.

Now, two more styles of a BAPE Samba have emerged this week, expected to be the debut of the BAPE-ified version of the silhouette. Their version replaces the shoes lateral wall stripes with the Shooting Star logo, along with A Bathing Ape branding in gold foil. The look also removes the standard toe cap in favor of a rubberized piece, featuring some molded detailing and attached via no-sew construction.

Kobe’s 2007 Nike Kobe 3 “Christmas” PE Releases to the Public this Holiday Season

Nike has been in their PE bag recently, bringing us a ton of heat from their basketball archives previously reserved exclusively for players. This year’s Kobe Bryant’s Christmas day Kobe 3 from 2007 is expected to release to the public during the holiday season.

Nike is preparing for to debut another Protro edition from their archive of Kobe Bryant signature shoes, this time reimagining the Kobe 3. Originally released in 2007, the silhouette was one of the last high-top models Bryant wore before his preference changed to lows, and featured some unique design details at the time. The shoe features a flexible plastic cage element across the upper, providing structure and support while still allowing for hard cuts. Nike has reengineered this portion of the shoe for the Protro update, using more modern materials from the version released nearly twenty years ago.

After leaks early this year regarding the return of the Kobe 3, we finally got an official look from both Nike and Vanessa Bryant in August. The Kobe 3 Protro emerged in a clean “Halo” white edition, which will mark the shoe’s debut. Now, we have an official look at the first public release of a player-exclusive model worn by Kobe in 2007; the Christmas day colorway. Created for a Christmas day game in 2007, the shoe features an icy blue toe and forefoot, before fading to a clean while rear section. The signature cage is applied in a semi-translucent milk shade, with blue tongues and laces underneath.

Nike SB”s Air Max 95 Emerges in a “Cacao Wow” Color Scheme

The Nike SB team released their debut pair of the Air Max 95 last month, modifying the shoe for a more skate-ready fit and design. Now, new colorways are on the horizon, like this “Cacao Wow” pair slated for Spring 2026 that surfaced this week.

The SB-ification of iconic Nike sneakers is one of the best projects from the Swoosh ion recent years. It started in 2023 when the SB team delivered their version of the Air Jordan 4. The silhouette was identical to the standard version from the exterior, but made small changes to the inner working to make them more appropriate for regular skating. Then, we got word of another remake, this time featuring the Air Max 95. We’ve been hearing about this SB style for months, and they finally released to the public in August with the “Cactus Flower” colorway.

Our latest early look at a pair of Nike SB”s Air Max 95 ditches the colorful pink accents of the debut release in favor of a clean, neutral color palette. Dubbed “Cacao Wow”, this pair features a combination of nubuck and leather layers for the upper, which are cast in the shoe’s classic gradient blocking. The midsole starts in black, and the color fades into brown and then white for the top of the shoe. The chocolatey brown shade makes up the eyelets and Swoosh detailing, with SB branding on the heels and a 3M fleurish to complete the look.

NIKE SB AIR MAX 95 “CACAO WOW” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike SB has not announced their next release of the modified Air Max 95, and this pair in particular is not expected to release until sometime in 2026. Dressing the shoe in a neutral palette of grey and black tones with a “Cacao Wow” accent, pairs will likely be available again through the SNKRS app and skate shops, with a $185 price tag.

Anthony Edwards and adidas are prepping for the debut of the Timberwolves’ guard’s second signature shoe, the AE2. The silhouette has popped up in a number of new colors in recent weeks, now including a “Lime Burst” pair for Spring 2026.

Fans of Anthony Edwards and his siganture sneaker with adidas, the AE1, have been anxiously awaiting the debut of his second model, the AE2, for quite a while now. The original model was widely regarded as one of the best and most stylish basketball shoes in recent history when it launched in 2023, and has been a staple for adidas Performance since then. The process of getting the AE2 to market has been a long one, with adidas have to return to the drawing board multiple times, eventually repurposing the silhouette designated to be the AE3 as the sophomore silhouette.
