Off-White and Nike are supposedly coming to the end of their exclusive collaborations. However, it appears that the two plan to go out with a bang, as Virgil recently premiered a bright new blue colorway of the Off-White Nike Air Force 1 Low.

Virgil Abloh and Nike have had an impressive collaborative run together in the last year. Starting with their initial “The Ten” collection, the project between Virgil’s Off-White and Nike has grown to include a number of famous Swoosh silhouettes across multiple sports and even roping in third-party collaborators. The project has even extended to special events, releasing a limited edition Off-White Air Force 1 at ComplexCon last year. Now, it appears that Virgil and Nike will be returning to the Air Force 1 for another special edition release.

Despite rumors that Off-White and Nike will discontinue their partnership due to Virgil’s involvement with Louis Vuitton, a new Air Force 1 colorway has appeared on Abloh’s feet. Mere hours after the reveal, leak account Py-Rates took to Twitter to provide some more information regarding the new look. This special edition Air Force 1 begins with a bright blue tone across the entire leather upper. The oversized Swooshes come in reflective silver, while white laces complete the look. As always, the shoes are complete with the signature Off-White hangtag, this time coming in red. The new look is said to be releasing next year exclusively at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.

OFF-WHITE X NIKE AIR FORCE 1 “MCA CHICAGO” RELEASE INFORMATION

UPDATE (May 21st, 2019):
The latest Nike Air Force 1 from Off-White and Nike is still expected to release sometime in June 2019, though there is very little evidence to corroborate this, let alone an official announcement by either brand. However, the appearance of a pair on Virgil’s personal Instagram is a good indication that earlier rumors of these bold blue Air Force 1s are correct.

Virgil Abloh’s limited edition Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 in University Blue is said to be released in June 2019 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Sizes are said to be available in both men’s’ and GS, though this will only be confirmed with time.
