Converse and Japanese menswear label nonnative have unveiled their latest collaboration this week, giving the classic Pro Leather High a luxurious suede upgrades. Available in two colorways, the project drops later this week.

The Japanese fashion community’s general affinity for Converse and the brand’s mutual respect have brought about some of the most interesting collaborations in the last few years. This week, contemporary menswear brand nonnative is adding another Japan-exclusive release to that list, with their interpretation of the Converse Pro Leather High. the new project rebuilds the classic leather basketball sneaker with premium suede uppers, available in both white and all-black colorways. Converse’s Chevron & Star branding is featured in leather on either side of the Pro Leather, while a removable zip cover for the laces adds a customizable element to the shoe.

nonnative’s luxe suede take on the Converse Pro Leather High is scheduled to release later this week on October 14th, 2020. Both black and white colorways will be available from nonnative’s website as well as select retailers like Coverchord for approximately $220.
