Nike’s Vapormax Flyknit series has found massive success in the running and lifestyle markets. With so many colorways already available, the Swoosh has more planned, like this new blue and red mix coming later this May.
The Nike Air Vapormax is one of the most stylish sneakers currently available from the Swoosh. While the bulbous evolution of Air was intended for running, its found a better purpose across a massive span of Nike lifestyle silhouettes. However, the original Vapormax Flyknit still made its way to the front of the pack, leading the charge of what made Vapormax cool. Now, Nike is several months into the shelf-life of the Vapormax Flyknit 2, a worthy upgrade to the original.
The latest new colorway of the Vapormax 2 is set to launch next month but is already one of the better standard releases to watch out for. Titled the “Gym Blue”, this Nike Vapormax begins with a smooth blue tone for the entire Flyknit upper. The Swoosh comes in a bold maroon to counter the main body, while the heel supports are painted in carbon black to separate them from the brighter backdrop. The Vapormax sole unit comes in a translucent blue color to complete the look.

The next Nike Air Vapormax Flyknit 2 is scheduled to launch later this Fall, though an official date has yet to be announced. The “Gym Blue” colorway will retail for the standard $190 from both Nike and select retailers.
