The Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 is finally here. The second signature silhouette from skater Nyjah Huston in his five years with Nike SB. This week, we have an early look at a new colorway that pays homage to Nyjah’s home team, the Lakers.

Nyjah Huston has been making the most of his time on the Nike SB team, from his part in Til Death in 2018 to his now two signature sneakers. The Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 launched earlier this Summer, originally planned to coincide with the debut of skateboarding in the 2020 Olympic Games. However, the release forged ahead, dropping in a special Olympic-themed look amid a handful of other colorways. Now, Nike SB is ready to debut its latest colorway of the Nyjah 2, this time taking inspiration from his NBA team of choice, the Los Angeles Lakers. Featuring a nearly solid white upper, this pair adds purple Swooshes and yellow midsole detailing to evoke the Lakers theme.
