Nike SB will once again be honoring a past rendition with a Dunk Low that opts for a Reverse Papa Bear color-scheme.
What was once an outlandish colorway, is now normal. Nike SB back in the day tested the waters when the hype was down on their SB lineup with a Three Bears Pack that features three renditions decked out in fur and suede. Now years later as a theme like that is not something we’d even think twice about, the Dunk Low will be featured in a Reverse Papa Bear rendition.
Taking notes from the wheat and dark purple overlays on the original Dunk High Papa Bear, this edition features Dark Purple leather on the toes, side panelings, and ankles while wheat suede dresses the overlay system across the mudguard, eyestays, and heels. Light Fusion Red is then added to the upper on the Nike Swoosh logos, tongue branding, and heels. A white rubber midsole and dark purple outsole finish off the new variation.

According to SNKRS Korea, the Nike SB Dunk Low Reverse Papa Bear will be dropping on April 3rd, 2021 with a US release date not being scheduled just yet. The retail price will be $100. UPDATE 4/9: According to Nikesbornothing, this Nike SB Dunk Low colorway is inspired by Nike SB’s former senior product line manager Steve Pelletier’s Air Jordan hat that he’s had since the 7th grade. The shoes are scheduled to hit skate shops sometime in May, stay tuned for more updates.
