Ishod Wair’s second signature shoe with Nike SB has been around for a few years now, launched in early 2024. Combining performance aesthetics with the needs of a skate shoe, the Air Max Ishod is getting a Premium edition this season, launching in a “Tennis Ball” look next week.
The Air Max Ishod from Nike SB is perhaps one of the best skater signature models ever conceived by the Swoosh. Introduced in early 2024 as Ishod Wair’s second signature sneaker model, the shoe built on the tech-forward approach of his first model. The Air Max Ishod is exactly what the name implies; an Air Max sneaker geared towards skateboarding. The silhouette is a world away from other SB icons with canvas or leather uppers and gum soles. Instead, the AMI uses materials typically seen on running shoes, like the airy mesh side panels, and pairing them with leather and suede paneling. This model has had an unusually long tenure as well, recently returned to the spotlight with special pairs like the ode to the AM95 Neon. Now, a Premium edition pair is on the way next week, though it is unclear what exactly gives the shoe a Premium title. The look will come in a volt green tennis ball theme, complete with a miniature tennis ball keychain with every pair.

The debut look for this upgraded version of the shoe comes in a bold “Tennis Ball” volt color scheme, paired with a few black accents to tone down the neon color. Pairs will come with a small tennis ball key chain, and will release via the SNKRS app and skate shops for $125.
