Nike has just announced they will be releasing a special edition of the LeBron 17 dedicated to his I Promise School in Akron, Ohio.
LeBron James has always been committed to helping out his hometown of Akron, Ohio. A huge example of that is the Non-Profit I Promise School, that propels and gives many opportunities to the youth of Akron. That being said, Nike will shine the spotlight on the great deed, and will dedicate a special iteration of the LeBron 17 to the school.
The upper arrives in one of the cleanest looks yet as it takes inspiration from a kaleidoscope, portraying multiple shades of colors marbled and weaved into one effortless base. Black detailing can be found on the heel, tongue and laces that feature phrases like “I Promise I will Dream Big”. Teal branding paints the tongue and Nike Swoosh on the side paneling while also taking on a paint splattered look. A brightly colored marble outsole then completed the unique design.
