Nike announced a new string of retro Dunk Low release during yesterday’s SNKRS Showcase, bringing back some classic colorways. Among them is the ‘Silver Surfer’ pair from 2004, back for its 20th anniversary.
Nike’s SNKRS Showcase livestream yesterday gave us plenty to look forward to in 2024, with the brand taking it upon themselves to reveal upcoming colorways and retro releases instead of them being leaked later on. Hosted by Brandon ‘Jinx’ Jenkins, the stream showed us releases from ACG and Air Max, as well as an assortment of upcoming Dunk Low retros planned for 2024. Among the later was an updated version of 2004’s ‘Silver Surfer’ Dunk, which revises some of the silhouette’s usual materials for an interesting look. Retaining the mesh base of the original release, the pair adds shades of grey (or silver) as the leather outer layers, with pops of blue for the Swooshes and a bright red heel tab.
