Nike has been delivering some of their best new Dunk Low colorways through the model’s Next Nature version, as a part of their Move to Zero sustainability campaign. This week, a new Fall 2024 pair has surfaced, dressing the shoe in a clean “Green Suede” colorway.
Nike’s push for sustainable sneakers started in earnest in 2020, when the brand began incorporating recycled materials into nearly every in-line silhouette in their catalog. While some shoes just feature reused rubber for their soles, the Next Nature versions of iconic shoes use at least 20% recycled materials by weight, and are the pinnacle of the Move to Zero program at the moment. One of the most frequent NN models if the Dunk Low, which has released in dozens of colorways in the reused textiles.
Nike’s Next Nature series continues with fresh styles for the Dunk Low later in 2024. This week, we got an early look at a new pair that dresses the shoe in “Green Suede” materials. The look is a new spin on the classic Michigan State colorway, which was one of the first Dunks retro’d when the shoe went global back in 2020. The new style features a white leather base, off-white “Sail” midsoles, and a lush green shade across its suede outer layers.
