UPDATE 6/17/26: It’s only been a few hours, and we have some details regarding the Caitlin 1 from Nike. The shoes will officially release on October 1st for $140. The pattern across the upper is inspired by her initials, CC, and includes nods to Clark’s jersey #22. The midsole features a Cushlon build with forefoot Zoom Turbo pods, and the upper uses a new molding process that Nike is calling Opticast.

Caitlin Clark began teasing her debut signature shoe from Nike this week, and has now given us our first full look at the Caitlin 1. The model is expected to debut in the “Racer Blue” colorway this Fall.
Nike officially signed Caitlin Clark to a signature athlete deal in Summer 2025, formally cementing the relationship between the Indiana Fever star and the Swoosh. Clark had been a Nike-sponsored athlete during her college career at Iowa, regularly sporting Kobe sneakers, and became a face of the Kobe line when she entered the WNBA in 2024, with a number of player–exclusive colorways released in her name. When Nike announced the signature deal last August, they revealed an interlocking CC logo for Clark, as well as teasing a signature shoe.
For the past nine months, we’ve watched Clark continue to dominate in the WNBA, wearing her exclusive Kobe colorways the whole time. Anticipation for her own player model has been building, and the reveal has finally come this week. It started on Monday, when Clark changed her Instagram profile photo to a close-up shoe of the shoe’s texture, before changing it again yesterday to include the model’s Swoosh branding. Today, Caitlin has finally shared a full photo of the Nike Caitlin 1, in a striking “Racer Blue” colorway.
Without an accompanying announcement from Nike, we are still waiting on full details regarding any special technology in the shoe, as well as clean photos of the silhouette. The Caitlin 1 is a low-top model, aligning with her choice of Kobe models in recent years. The look features a ripple effect across the upper, and from the close-up shot, appears to use a rubberized scale-like texture across the upper. Each scale stands on its own, adding support and rigidity to the upper while still allowing each small section to move and flow freely. In addition to the blue colorway shared by Clark, Travis Scott also got an early pair of the Caitlin 1, showing off an all-black pair with chrome Swooshes in his own photos.

Nike and Caitlin Clark have not announced an official release date for the Fever star’s first signature sneaker, however the “Racer Blue” Caitlin 1 is currently expected this Fall, on October 1st, 2026. Detailed photos of the shoe are scarce, but the slim silhouette is aligned with some of her favorite Kobe models, and the shoe’s scaly textured upper will hopefully make for some interesting color blocking opportunities. Pairs will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers for $140.
