The Nike Blazer, the brand’s first basketball sneaker, has received a second life in recent years thanks to a renewed love of retro sneakers. This week, Nike prepares to introduce a new colorway of the ’77 Vintage, now in “Nature Green” suede.
The Nike Blazer has made quite a return to the sneaker scene in recent years, thanks in part to Virgil Abloh’s deconstructed Off-White pairs. Since then, Nike has introduced several new iterations of the classic silhouette to their arsenal, including the asymmetrical Rebel for women, and the ’77 Vintage, which pays homage to the original in both shape, construction, and colors. Since this version was introduced earleir this year, its become a hit among both sneakerheads and the uninitiated, thanks to its easily wearable style and smooth color schemes. This week, another new color scheme for the retro sneaker surfaced, this time rebuilding the upper entirely our of suede, and decked out in a vibrant “Nature Green” tone.

Nike’s recent vintage iteration of the Blazer Mid ’77 is set to release in new colorways soon, though no specific date has been announced yet. This “Nature Green” iteration will go for the usual $100, and release from both Nike and select retailers.
