The Nike Blazer has been on fire in 2019, lighting up sneaker release calendars through projects with Off-White, Stranger Things, Slam Jam Socialism, and more. Now, the reworked Blazer ’77 Vintage is back with a blacked-out look and snakeskin Swooshes.

The Nike Blazer has made quite a return to the sneaker scene in recent years, thanks in part to Virgil Abloh’s deconstructed Off-White pairs. Since then, Nike has introduced several new iterations of the classic silhouette to their arsenal, including the asymmetrical Rebel for women, and the ’77 Vintage, which pays homage to the original in both shape, construction, and colors. Since this version was introduced just a few months ago, its become a hit among both sneakerheads and the uninitiated, thanks to its easily wearable style and smooth color schemes. This week, a new look for the ’77 Vintage Blazer has surfaced online, painting the shoe’s leather and suede upper in all black, and swapping out the Swoosh for a green and black snakeskin material.
