The Nike Air Vapormax is off to a brilliant start. The new midsole technology was a hit in 2017, which carried over well into the new year. Now, Nike is unleashing a slew of brilliant colorways, like these two Vapormax Moc 2 pairs scheduled to release soon.
The laceless Nike Air Vapormax Moc was an enormous success when it first released. Removing the restrictive laces made an already futuristic shoe much sleeker and more aerodynamic. This year, the Swoosh released an updated version of the shoe, titled the Vapormax Flyknit Moc 2, updating the design for more interesting colorways. The changes have paid off, as Nike is now able to mix and match plenty of colors around the silhouette, creating an asymmetrical, but still beautiful new look. Two pairs of the Vapormax Moc 2 will debut this new color blocking, one in Sail and one in Olive. The new formula begins with a solid colored base, with added flare around the heel overlays, Swoosh, and tongue stitching. The Sail pair combines the neutral base with brown and bright blue on the heels, along with a pink Vapormax sole unit. The Olive pair pushes for a more eye-catching look, with a red Swoosh and teal heel overlays, and more of the bright tones appearing on the tongue stitching.
