Nike’s 2023 edition of the Air Vapormax Flyknit will continue new releases into 2024, while we wait for a further update on the silhouette. This week, an Anthracite black & Multicolor style emerged, coming next Spring.
Since Nike first introduced their Vapormax sneaker in 2017, the next evolution of their Air technology has remained a staple of their arsenal. Over the years, the technology has been updated and adjusted to be more durable, flexible, and lightweight. While they continue to adapt some of their iconic silhouettes to feature Vapormax, the main silhouette still remains legendary, with its 2023 edition as the latest and sleekest version so far. This week, a new color scheme of the model has emerged, giving the silhouette the iconic ‘Multicolor’ Flyknit treatment. The rainbow threads are mixed into an Anthracite black upper, making up the shoe’s mudguard and tongue pieces. The medial sides are emphasized with hot pink, while bright teal accents can be seen through the knit on the lateral sidewalls.
