Before 2022 arrives, the Nike Air VaporMax 2021 has surfaced in a new rendition that appears to draw inspiration from the popular Batman color-scheme.

While not an official collaboration, any time black, grey, white, and yellow are included on a sneaker, the immediate reaction is that the pair was inspired by Batman’s popular combination of colors. Featuring an official colorway of Black, White, University Gold, and Dark Grey, the sneaker arrives with a black and grey knitted upper with the additional accents of gold and white on the Nike Swoosh logos on the sides as well as on the lacing system and tongue logos. A black plastic heel piece is added for extra support while a dark smoky Air unit is added to the bottoms that’s highlighted by Grind materials, tying the rendition to Nike’s “Move to Zero” collection.
