The Air Max 90 is an iconic piece of Nike’s Air catalog, and is often refreshed with new colors and iterations. This Summer, two pairs with interchangeable, colorful velcro heel badges is set to launch.

Nike’s Air Max franchise has some truly iconic silhouettes under the label, form the OG Air Max 1 to later models like the Vapormax, and this year’s DN. However, a staple model for the brand over the past few decades has been the Air Max 90, which launches in new colors on a regular basis. This year, we are getting a restock of the “Reverse Duck Camo” pair, but before then, a pair with some customizable elements is set to arrive this Summer. Two colorways will release for the “Velcro Heel” pack, one in dark grey and one in shades of off-white. Both shoes feature interchangeable heel counters, as well as bright insole colors to match. The grey style comes with heel tabs in black, blue, and pink, while the lighter pair comes with white, and neon green & orange options.

Nike’s upcoming customizable pair of the Air Max 90 has not been given a set release date yet, but is expected to release sometime in June 2024. Dropping in two colorways, each with their own set of velcro heel patches, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for an expected $180.
