After taking inspiration from a theme that dropped eleven years ago, the Nike Air Max 90, which is the “Reverse Duck Camo” colorway for Air Max Day 2020, will be returning in September 2024.
Originally debuted in 2013, Atmos and Nike teamed up for an Air Max 90 in which “Duck Camo” made its first appearance. Striking the sneaker world, it’s honestly crazy the theme took this long to return with a few minor changes.
Infrared covers the toe and ankle, while camo print graces the toe box overlay, mudguard, side paneling, and heel. Black accents then come into play throughout, especially on the Nike Swoosh, while Infrared paints the Nike Air branding on the heel as well as on the tongue. The midsole comes divided into white and black, and infrared shines on the outsole.

UPDATE: Nike’s “Reverse Duck Camo” pair of the Air Max 90, which originally launched in 2020, is coming back for a restock later this year. The pair is featured in the new Cult Classics series, which reissues come iconic Nike lifestyle sneakers from the past few decades, like the “Ultramarine” AM180 and the “Michigan State” Dunks.
