The Nike Air Max 270 is off to a great start in 2018. The latest in Nike Air technology is seemingly everywhere and with so many great options it’s understandable. Now, a new colorway for the 270 looks suspiciously similar to one of last year’s biggest hits.

The Nike Mars Yard designed in collaboration with artist Tom Sachs is one of the most cherished Swoosh sneakers of the last 5 years. After last year’s launch of the 2.0 model, lust for the chunky all-terrain silhouette grew to an all-time high. However, after leaks earlier this year showed new versions of the famed Mars Yard coming soon, Nike has adopted the signature colorway for their new Air Max 270.

The new Nike Air Max 270 “Mars Yard” interprets Tom Sach’s beloved colorway onto the new lifestyle silhouette. The mesh upper for the 270 will come in Light Bone, with the overlays around the toes and heels coming in a raw, flat gold color. Most of the midsole comes in white EVA rubber, while the large 270 Air unit is cast in the bright Hot Punch tone, adding a touch of red similar to the Mars Yard.

Those looking to pick up a pair of the new Air Max 270 “Mars Yard” may have a tough time, as so far it appears to be a women’s exclusive colorway. Nike typically makes women’s sneakers up to an 11 or 12, so men size 10.5 and under may be able to find a good size. Head over to ShoePalace if you’re looking for this new Air Max 270.
