Nike Air Max 1 releases will continue to be a staple of the brand’s calendar for the next few months, adding a wide range of new styles. Today, we have an early look at a “Picante Red” pair, coming soon.
The lineup of Nike’s AM1 for 2024 continues to grow, adding plenty fresh colorways to the iconic runner over the next several months. With the imminent release of the ’86 version in the classic “Royal” style, as well as its Air Max Day special-edition “Volt” variant, new Summer-ready styles have surfaced this week, like this “Picante Red” version. The new look features a white mesh underlay across the upper, adding bright picante red leather for the midfoot overlays and heels. The mudguard and Swooshes are added in a “Burgundy Crush” suede, with matching accents for the shoe’s branding and outsoles.

Nike’s upcoming ‘Picante Red’ colorway of the AM1 is expected to release in Summer 2024, though no date has been set yet. The new look adds fiery red leather and rich burgundy suede over a white base, and pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $140.
