Nike Air Max 1 Hangul Day

Nike is celebrating Korea’s Hangul Day again this year, releasing a pack of special-edition sneakers for the Alphabet holiday. This year, the Air Max 1 returns in Orewood Brown suede.

Last year, Nike released their first sneakers celebrating Hangul Day, the Korean holiday celebrating the creation of their alphabet during the 15th century. Now, ahead of the celebration in early October, new releases have begun to emerge. First, we saw the Dunk Low appear in a clean, neutral color scheme, and today, the Air Max 1 has surfaced, reprising its role from last year’s release with a more refined, and simpler style. The pair features a white mesh base layer, with suede overlays in Orewood Brown. The tongues, Swooshes, and laces come in a pale coconut milk shade of white, while a Sail midsole completes the look.
