The Nike Air Max 1 Crepe is here to stay. After its retro release last year, the Swoosh has slowly been adding more colors to the 2004 model. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Light Bone’ edition, coming soon.
The Air Max 1 Crepe originally debuted in 2004 with the ‘Hemp’ color scheme, which ascended to grail status for many collectors until a retro released in 2022. Recently, Nike also launched a ‘Cool Grey’ version of the Air Max 1 Crepe, signaling that the slightly modified look would be seeing more wide releases in the future. This week, a new ‘Light Bone’ colorway has emerged to join the ranks, dressing the AM1 in a mix of materials to accompany the soft outsole. This pair begins with a white leather base layer, adding suede overlays to the midfoot in light bone. The mudguard features a chopped up and reconstructed panelling of various canvas textiles, all in light blue. The Swooshes come in a a textured reptile-like gold leather to complete the look.
