Nike continues to play with new releases of the Air Max 1, twisting the iconic runner in new color schemes and materials. This week, we have an early look at a new ‘Buff Gold’ style, with a suede and corduroy upper.
The Air Max 1 is getting an interesting materials upgrade from Nike this season, spinning the silhouette in a new ‘Buff Gold’ color scheme. The model has been a focus for the brand in the last two years, reviving the fan-favorite runner in both classic and brand new styles, like this women’s pair coming later this year. The look begins with a rough suede base in Buff Gold, with ribbed corduroy outer layers in sesame brown. Other details included embroidered eyelets, and a revised Air logo script across the tongues.
