Nike’s Air Force 1 Mid is gearing up for a comeback in 2022, with several high-profile projects, including a collaboration with Stüssy in the pipeline. Today, we have an early look at a new “Copy Paste” look, which adds oversized branding, coming soon.

In the past several years, Nike’s Air Force 1 has been particularly abundant in its most common low-top format, though that was not always the most popular iteration you’d see in the streets. Instead, the high- and low-top models are usually all the rage, while the mid-top variant is typically Nike’s least favorite iteration to work with. That appears to be changing in 2022, as a slew of new releases for the AF1 Mid have surfaced in the past few weeks, from a collaboration with Stüssy to a re-release of the famous “Independence Day” pair. Now, we have an early look at a new “Copy Paste” look, which adds some massive new Nike branding to the classic shoe. The new style begins with a flat grey leather base for the Air Force 1 Mid, adding white laces and the signature metal lace dubrae. The forefoot adds a huge white nike Swoosh stretching from the lateral mudguard to the tip of the standard-issue Swoosh, while the Nike logo appears in massive block lettering along the medial sides.
