Nike is bringing back an incredible pair of the Air Force 1 Low this year, rehashing 2021’s “Sashiko” style for 2024. Changes seem to be mild, and the shoe’s knit, woven, and stitched panels are all true to the original.

Nike frequently references Japanese Sashiko stitching in their sneaker releases, like with last year’s Air Jordan 1 Low, or the 2020 AJ4. Just after the release of the AJ4, they took the same inspiration to the Air Force 1, crafting an intricate pair using woven, knit, and leather panelling. The silhouette was dressed in a smooth blue, white, and black color scheme, resulting in a unique take on the iconic silhouette. Now, Nike appears to be preparing a rerelease of the eccentric look for 2024. The pair features the same colors and blocking throughout, this time adding golden Japanese Kanji embroidery to each heel, adding more Kanji on the outsoles.
