Another day, another new Air Force 1 from Nike. This week, we have an early look at the upcoming AF1 Fontanka, a new spin on the classic silhouette which adds React blocks into the midsole for extra cushioning.

Nike has been on a roll with the Air Force 1 for the past few years, pumping out new variations and colorways at an unprecedented rate. 2021 has been no different, with the Swoosh delivering a few sought-after retro colorways so far, as well as the addition of new models, like the Air Force 1 Fontanka seen here. Inspired by the recent Fontanka Edge women’s silhouette, the new AF1 features a remixed upper with unfinished paneling, though the main attraction is the new midsole unit. This version of the AF1 adds a new block of Nike’s React cushioning foam to the classic midsole, cushioning the heels of each shoe as you move. The debut colorway pits the Air Force entirely in white with yellow React blocks, while a triple embroidered Swoosh design decorates the tongues.
