New Balance retros have been taking the sneaker world by storm the past few years, and 2020 is no different. Towards the end of 2019, the Boston brand introduced the 860v2, a modern update to a ’90s classic. Now, the 860v2 is back in all-new colorways for 2020.

Back in the 1990s, New Balance was at the top of their game in the running category. The 99x series was everywhere, and the 850 was shifting the idea of what New Balance footwear could look like. Then came the 860. Built to be lightweight, agile, and stable, the new silhouette was a sleek and streamlined departure from some of the Boston-based brand’s previous endeavors. Featuring an airy mesh upper and slim taped overlays, the 860 quickly became a favorite among runners. The, at the end of 2019, New Balance released the 860v2, a follow-up to the pivotal silhouette nearly 20 years after its original debut. This week, the 860v2 returns in two more colorways, one dressed entirely in their classic grey tones, and the second in a lighter shade of cream, with accents in green and red.

New Balance’s latest colorways of their classic 860 V2 running sneaker have been scheduled to release later this week, on March 14th, 2020. Both the cream and grey color schemes are set to drop from both New Balance and select retailers like SneakersNStuff for $130 each.
