New Balance is on fire this year. With so many exciting collaborations and interesting new silhouettes, it’s tough to keep track of it all. One release that’s flown under the radar is the X_Racer Utility, which launched in a new “Workwear”-inspired collection this week.

The outdoor-ready update to New Balance’s X-Racer Utility model first launched earlier this year, as part of a special collaboration with Bodega to help debut the new silhouette. Now, the upgraded X-Racer has been surfacing on release shelves in new colorways throughout this year, with the latest collection of looks taking inspiration from workwear clothing and colors for a three-pack of fresh Fall color schemes. First in the new collection is the brightest, beginning with a soft brown base layer before adding weather-resistant overlays in Safety Orange, and other accents in black, yellow, and a hint of teal. The next in line cloaks the X-Racer Utility entirely in black, save for the gum rubber outsole that provides increased traction and grip. Finally, the last pair in the three-pack begins with plain grey tones throughout, while soft olive green overlays add some depth to the look while a gum rubber outsole completes the look.
