This years NBA All-Star Game while delayed and different than years past gave us a detailed look at a handful of different sneakers gearing up for future releases which includes Kawhi’s New Balance sneaker in a “Neo Flame” makeover.
In a usual year, the NBA All-Star Game coincides with Valentine’s Day and it looks like New Balance and Kawhi had his signature shoe ready for both events in 2021 but unfortunately due to the pandemic, the annual NBA festivities were delayed about a month later. This romantic edition arrives after the Jolly Rancher collaboration that featured the hardwood sneaker in a candy theme that released last year giving fans another interesting take on the signature shoe.
The silhouette comes dressed in shades of pink, red, and black with an upper full of mesh, TPU, and embroidery. Black velvet detailing is given to the ankle collar and tongue which features Love themed detailing with hearts being embroidered in and “The Romantic Choice” branded tongue tags. The rubber soles finish off the design in shades of pink.
