New Balance’s latest iteration of the 997, titled the 997H, has been around for several months now, with the Boston brand pumping out exciting new colorways. This week, New Balance quietly unveiled an exciting new rework of the 997H featuring heavy-duty Cordura nylon.

New Balance’s 997 silhouette has been a staple of the footwear industry since it first debuted back in the 90s. Since then, the Boston sneaker experts have released the timeless runner in just about every colorway imaginable, as well as several different reworked iterations of the shoe. One of these variations, the 997H, made its debut earlier this year before dropping in new color schemes routinely in the following weeks. Now, a few months removed from the initial release, New Balance has dropped an exciting new version of the sleek silhouette, reconstructing the shoe to include high-grade Cordura nylon instead of the usual mesh base of the upper.
