New Balance Refreshes the Classic 997 With Pastel Tones for Spring

New Balance’s 99x series has been in high demand in recent years, thanks to their simple yet durable styles. This week, the fan-favorite 997 has surfaced in a new pastel-themed colorway, just in time for Spring.

The New Balance 997 has seen a lot of love from fans recently, and the Boston-based brand is reciprocating that with fresh new releases every few weeks. This month, the classic silhouette is getting ready for the Spring Solstice later this month with a palette of pastel tones, perfect for the upcoming sunnier days. This soft color scheme begins with a sand-toned mesh base layer, reinforced by grey quarter panels and white TPU collar reinforcement. The heel counter comes in a deep navy blue suede, while the toe cap is constructed from a minty green tone. Finally, the tongue finishes off the colorful accents with a brick red suede.


The latest colorway of New Balance classic 997 ‘Made in USA’ silhouette to hit shelves has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to arrive at stores like 43Einhalb soon.The bright pastel will retail for approximately $250 from both New Balance and select retailers.
