The New Balance 997 has been on fire recently. Following high profile releases from various collaborators and the brand itself, the classic 997 recently rolled out in a fresh new “Mint Green” color scheme earlier this week, perfect for Spring.

Last time we checked in with the New Balance 997 OG, the silhouette was ready to launch in an ultra-luxurious new look thanks to a clean black Horween leather upgrade. Now, the same legendary silhouette is beginning its transition into Springtime colors, with the new “Mint Green” color scheme that hit retail shelves last week. As the latest release of the classic 997, the almost tonal colorway provides a fresh palette for the changing seasons. Beginning with a green mesh underlay, this release then adds pigskin suede overlays in minty tones to the mudguard, quarter panels, and heel. The leather collar and reinforcement above the toe box come in a more pastel shade of the namesake green tone, while a coyote tan TPU lace fixture completes the look.
